4th time ordering these boots. These wolverines are comfortable, durable, and most importantly priced right. I've worn many different brands of boots over the years, and these give ya the most bang for your buck. I can get a full year of WORK wear out of a pair. Now you might say that a year isn't very long, but I am not easy on boots(farmer). I own two pairs of these at a time. One pair for work and one pair for going out. I just rotate my going out pair to work; once my current work boots breakdown. I've worn high dollar boots that last half as long as these do. If you want a quality boot that fits right and will stand up to a lot of abuse; look no further.
Approaching five years. Daily wearer for most of those years. Maintained by scotch-brite scuffing, deep conditioning and seal once a year with normal leather care products available at Walmart. Bought these a little large and they seem to run a little large. Normally wear heavy or double socks so it worked out. If you have arch issues you will need insoles. Photos were taken on the laundry room floor where they landed still wet from coming in the door. One boot got soaked in used motor oil. Scuffed and cleaned with counter top degreaser and hot soapy water. Once I dryed, conditioned and stained it, all was good. Fantastic consumer work boots.
I've had several pairs of these over the years. Each pair lasted at least 5 years. I use snow seal on them and they are perfectly waterproof if you keep that on them. They also run big and I order one size down and they fit perfectly. After they are broken in, they are more comfortable for walking than my tennis shoes.
My husband is now on his third pair. If it weren’t for the fact that these are EXTREMELY comfortable to him, we would not continue to purchase them. The soles near the little toe on each boot do not stay bonded for more than about 7 months. They are not used as work boots either. Considering the price of the boots, we find this unsatisfactory. We only gave 4 stars because of the issues with the soles. Otherwise, my husband said if he had to give stars based solely on comfort, he’d give 10 stars if he could.
I'm on my third pair of these boots, they seem to last me about 2 years per pair. I'm not out working in them all day, but I do wear them walking around on concrete floors all day with 0 foot pain. These are by far the best boots I've ever worn, and the only boots I will purchase from now on.
Just received my wolverines, not able to put them on my feet, can't get my heel past the top of the shat to try them!I wear a 10 EEE, these might allow an 8 AA to wear them. No way to rate them, since I can't put them on.Forced a star rating I am forced to give at least a one star, they do look nice, but now I have doubts to trade them, because of the crazy skinny entry. I think my goats could wear them, but the toe would be too big for either of them.
The foot portion of the boot fits good but the shaft is so wide that it flops around and is uncomfortable. I have worn lots of wellington style boots and these are the loosest. The only way they would fit tight in my opinion is if someone had VERY wide ankles and calves. Luckily wolverine has a 30 day comfort guarantee on these boots so I sent them back for a full refund after I wore them for two weeks.
I tried on dozens of pair of work boots looking for a good fit and a sensible design. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel and couldn't find any that were wide enough in the toe box but that didn't slip up and down a lot at the heel. Being able to get these in my regular shoe size but in a wide width solved the problem. They were comfortable out of the box and have broken in nicely. I really like the construction of the sole, they have good grip but without the deep lugs on so many boots that pick up and hold dirt and rocks and then release it when you come inside. And the price of these compared to lots of others I tried on make them a real bargain.
