These boots look really nice but they will in fact dig into you ankle. The inseam of the tongue on the inside of the boot will dig and hurt like a hell. Very stylish though. I got many complaints. Beauty is pain jk lol
For the most part these boots are great. Comfortable and have held up so far. But for whatever reason the right boot digs into my leg and for some reason the laces are WAY longer on the right boot. Tried contacting the seller but no response.
