This is my second pair. Last one lasted for 9 years. And I could still use it for few more years . But this one was on sale which I could not resist. Very satisfied . I use specialized insoles from Dr shoals. My feet love it.

Wolverine makes an excellent boot. The Marquette is a durable, moderately-priced, work boot. My first pair in 2009 lasted until 2018 though I wear it everyday and sometimes at home if I'm cutting grass or doing construction. Keep in mind I work as a contractor so the boots sometimes sit in the closet until I go on assignment. Adding it up, I have 51 months living in the first pair: I just retired those first pair of boots after the tops started to think and tear; the rear sole is thinned by erosion ---- like most people, I have one leg longer than the other.Compared to other work boots that became uncomfortable to wear and break in the Marquettes are easy to wear again after sitting in the closet for a year and they break in easily. I am currently breaking in the third pair: I alternate between two pairs of boots to allow them to dry out.
The boot actually fits better than expected and would have given 5 stars, but the leather is not pulled tight on the whole boot only across the steel toe leaving the rest of the leather looking somewhat textured...not the best look. I will say again, the fit is perfect, comfortable right out of the box.
I started working for my company in 2005. This is the only safety shoe that is comfortable and meets my company’s safety standards.
Boots arrived in a pretty good time frame. I love these boots great look easy to clean and they hold up under pretty decent usage. The leather is not tight but it is a little snug when you first wear them and I do mean just a little but a few days wear no problem. This is a steel toe boot that are comfortable and look great. They are on the heavy side if you are not used to them I have been wear this brand type of boot everyday almost for about three years now. My old pair just tore up maybe a month ago but that's after everyday wear and tear and more.
Steel toe made it unwearable to narrow at toes
I purchased these shoes for my son when he first got into the HVAC field and I am glad I did. At first he kinda looked at me like I was crazy for buying him some steal toes... .until he came home from work with a large scrap across one of his toes. A large end of a unit dropped on his foot. had it not had been for those steel toes... he would probably be missing 2 or 3 toes right now. YEAH MOM!!!! Now this is the only shoe he likes... so will buy them for him every year on his birthday. :) They are black, have a firm grip and very nice looking.AWESOME SHOE!!!
