You will appreciate how this lightweight design alleviates fatigue, especially during long hours on your feet.
The epx anti-fatigue comfort technology is perhaps one of the most impressive features. It provides excellent cushioning and support, making these boots ideal for those who work in environments that demand prolonged standing or walking. Many users report feeling less tired after wearing them through a full workday.
In terms of safety, the men's Edge LX boots meet rigorous ASTM standards, protecting your feet from heavy falling objects. The reflective materials used in their construction also add a layer of security, enhancing visibility during low-light conditions.
However, potential buyers should consider that while these boots offer unparalleled comfort and protection, they come at a premium price. Additionally, the leather material requires proper care and maintenance to uphold its quality over time.

Bought these in July 2010. It was the worst pair of work boots I’ve ever own.Ive worn these while working in; warehouse, attic crawl space, working in the yard, construction site, you get the idea. I’ve put these babies through a lot. The stitch is holding quite well. I’m still wearing them as I’m finally looking for a replacement. Look no further I keep telling myself. The boots are very comfortable and works as expected. All I had to do was purchase special arch support in soles. Other than that, these are the best boots.Does a really good job keeping water out. I’ve worked in construction sites and since I haven’t truly experience a nail puncture perhaps it’s because it just prevented it without my awareness, these babies protected me for years.Buy them, don’t wait.As for maintenance, I’ve hosed it down and I always take the in soles out to air dry the interior. Never had any issues. What these boots been through: I was in the construction remodeling business, done a lot of personal DIY projects, crawled in the attic many times, worked in the warehouse, running various network and electrical cables, tons of yard renovation projects, a full house renovation down to the studs, plumbing, you get the idea...Gosh, I was really hoping these would last forever. What is forever?
More comfortable than description. I read some reviews, and there was some that said they was a little small. ( After highschool, I worked in a shoe store, and realized most people, including myself, didnt know how to get a good fitting shoe, especially when it comes to kids shoe. They would say it was too tight, so would go a size up. However, what they really needed was a wider shoe.) With that being said, I got a 9W. They are a slight bit longer than expected, but not too much. And, I think the 8.5W would be a little to short. I would like to try these in a regular store to find out for sure. They almost fit like a 9.5M, and are actually just as long, but my foot doesnt slide around in these like my last pair, which was 9.5M. So be familiar w your foot when deciding on the size. Dont get the wrong idea. They are extremely comfortable. Lightweight. The insole is a lot more comfortable than the last pair of wolverine boots I bought ( Overman NT 6 in-$203 final price, and I had to buy new insoles after first use due to discomfort.) The insoles are great. As a matter of fact, when I get the extra cash, Im buying another pair just to have for when these are done, which im figuring will be at least a year. Once again great boot. FYI: if this or any boot/shoe causes discomfort on top of foot, try lacing them differently. I discovered this reading a Running magizine. Skip the 2nd or third to last set of holes . Trial and error.... once again, i would highly recommend this boot.
Bought these for my son, he absolutely loves them! Very comfortable and lightweight!
So, it's only day one but after 12 hours on my feet these boots are everything I'd hoped for so I thought I'd drop an early review. They were comfortable right out of the box and they look pretty good as well. The laces seem sturdy and I like the way they lace up (some other brands cheap out on this area). I will be sure to update this review in a couple months - I spent many hours researching boots (online and in store) after not being so happy with the last couple pairs I've owned, so I know the importance of good reviews.Time will tell on the durability, seems that most boots that are this comfortable straight away seem to lack the longevity of some other boots. I work at a power plant, standing 12 hour shifts so comfort and durability are the two most important things. I don't know whether the material will hold up to the oils and greases that inevitably find their way onto my boots - we will see. I also look for a boot that is water proof, but provides some breath-ability as well - these seem to hit the mark there, my feet were not sweaty at all.Amazon's price and service made this the place to buy them - even though my company reimburses my cost, I felt that saving the few dollars on Amazon is the way to go. Two day shipping and free returns... just can't beat it!
These boots are an epic fail!!! Although comfortable, they are not built to last. Owned boots for less than 45 days and only wore them maybe 10 times in casual use. (Yard work, trail walking, motorcycle riding) The outsoles of both boots has already separated from the uppers. I was literally just walking in the park with my son, not doing anything extreme, never even got the shoes wet or muddy. I don't know how anyone could use these as legitimate work boots. The lowers and uppers are glued on instead of being stitched. They will come apart on you. Luckily this happened to me during the return window and I'll be able to get my money back. Stay away from these if you need reliable work boots because these will let you down just taking a walk in the park.
these are by far some of the comfiest work boots i have owned. they keep my feet fresh and are light weight. However, one thing i did not like is the fact that after using them for walking in ballast, the outer pieces of the soles started coming off. i do not know if this happened because of walking on ballast or poor workmanship of the soles. the pieces that fell off were glued on the outer lip of the soles, if they could be stitched they would stay put. other than that, they are very comfy to spend more than 8 hours in them.
I got these boots to replace a pair of Wolverine (Buffalo 6") steel toe boots that I have had and loved for about 5 years. I had hoped these would be good replacements; that they would be good boots for the Summer. So far I would say they are quite comfortable but maybe not as comfortable as my previous boots. They don't seem to breath as well. At the end of the day I am ready to get them off. However they are light, water-proof and provide good slip resistance and I like the way they look. I went down a size from my previous boot (from size 11 to 10-1/2) which is what I normally wear.
