When it comes to choosing the right construction boot, comfort and durability are paramount—and the Wolverine Men's DuraShocks SR excels in both categories. The steel-toe design offers essential protection for your feet without compromising comfort. The breathable waterproof membrane ensures that your feet stay dry, even in wet conditions, while the moisture-wicking mesh lining keeps them fresh during prolonged use.
The removable full cushion dual-density footbed provides an extra layer of support, making long days on your feet far more manageable. Additionally, the advanced comfort PU midsole works alongside the DuraShocks SR dual-density suspension pads to absorb shock and reduce fatigue.
However, it’s important to note that like many high-quality boots, you might experience a break-in period. While some users appreciate the rugged sturdiness of the boot, others have found it heavier than some lightweight alternatives on the market. This weight might not be an issue for everyone, but it's something to consider if you're looking for an ultra-light option.
In terms of styling, the copper color and classic aesthetic allow for versatility that seamlessly blends into both work and casual environments. Overall, the Wolverine Men's DuraShocks SR is an excellent investment for anyone needing a reliable construction boot.

Most comfortable I’ve had
Love the Dura shock. The only shoes my husband can wear.
I really wish that Wolverine didn’t discontinued making the 6” Raider steel toe. They have a new version with a composite toe, but where we work at requires specifically steel toe leather boots (a composite toe failed during an incident that led to someone having to call a toe truck, so only steel from them on). I’ve had like 4 pairs of the old style raiders and I got several coworkers on them, as well. Now finding out they don’t make them anymore, we tried these. They’re nowhere near the same, they’re overpriced, and now we’re changing brands because the newer model boots from Wolverine just don’t compare.
I bought lots of Wolverine steel toe shoes in the past for work,so far thes have been the most uncomfortable shoes I ever got, have never had issues like these
second pair i bought looked like someone wore for a couple of days , thats all , i"m using them for work every day
I've been wearing this boot brand for over 30yrs , even after I retired and it still a great Boot ,Very comfortable. Wolverine boots have always stay a head of the curve of Excellence.
