I have spent so much time searching for a comfortable work boot. 100's of dollars spent searching for that right fit and countless returns of disappointment. THESE BOOTS ROCK!!!! I am beyond happy with these boots. As far as the fit goes , if you wear a size 11 get a size 11 . They fit as expected .I work as a high voltage electrician and on the rail road with countless trip hazards . The weight is great ! The style is great ! The support is great!!! I have read some reviews about small toe boxes on these pffffft I think those people are crazy .... or they just have odd shaped feet and probably need to wear sketcher shape ups to work lol. These boots boots HAVE a great toe box!!! And I have plantar fasciitis to top it off and don't have a problem being on my feet all day in these boots. So there is a small con...... they don't breath as well as some boots do. They kinda remind me of hiking boots in the breathing sense. throw some powder in your socks and quit whining.... BUY these boots, you wont regret it .Ok, here's an update ..... the boots are holding up well and are still very comfortable. The only things is THEY DO NOT BREATH!!!! My feet are soaked at the end of an 8 hour shift. I am thinking of punching some grommit holes into them to have some sort of air flow.
I feel that the medium wide seems a bit wide to me. Other than that great boot. Very comfortable. Have been wearing now for a few months. Not heavy. Very little fatigue and Good mobility. My work requires me to stand, squat kneel, and even crawl around sometimes and these boots don't hinder movement while also seeming to be made well enough to be long lasting. I must admit that I'm not a person that is very hard on shoes tho. But I would recommend these boots to anyone. Comfort was most important but these boots look good too. I've gotten plenty compliments from co-workers and even customers. This probably isn't important to most people shopping for a work boot, but it's a nice bonus. I always say, you look good, you feel good. This boot worth the money
excellent boot. toe box is cramped on left big toe, guess i gotta beat it with a big hammer to adjust it a bit. very heavy duty, heavy weight boot. mostly water proof to bottom of the tongue right where it attached to the boot. look great, mostly comfortable except for the left toe.
My husband loves these boots. He's a trucker, hunter and just hard on boots in general. These ate strongwell made and look great. His first pair lasted him right at 3 years before needing replaced. He walks a lot on his deliveries and needs really good arch support. With these boots he says his feet feel like he's been in his kicks all night. He used to put insoles in his boots after a couple months after the arch support breaks down, but hasn't needed them with these. The value is excellent.
The boots are very comfortable. I was surprised that I didn't have to change the insoles and are very durable. These are my secondary boots. I realized it's best to have more than one pair while working in a warehouse. I hate working just one pair. I'm glad these boots and my red wing boots don't hurt my feet too much.
Wore these for about an hour. Left work to go home and change boots. They were so clunky and stiff as a board. I have a manual transmission work truck and it was extremely hard to drive wearing these boots. Definitely no heel-toe action more like move your whole leg to manipulate pedals. They were so stiff I couldn’t crouch down to to basic job duties. I wasn’t taking the risk of “maybe they would break in” and returned them immediately. If you never have to crouch and need very hardy work boots maybe these would be great.I had high expectations because of the price. They looked great. Construction looked great. Fit was good.
I have had these for a year, wearing them an average of ten hours a day at least five days a week. I work outside in temps from the low teens to triple digits, on pavement, concrete, mud, rocks, and soggy vegetation. Not only have they stayed waterproof, they have remained comfortable and have most of the soles, as well as still looking good. The composite toe is lighter and safer than traditional steel toe, while being cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I just ordered another pair, and plan to buy another pair next year.
These boots lasted only 8 months before they started coming apart
