Quality is great. Plenty of room in the wide width not just for my toes, but my whole foot. Boots continue to take a beating and they continue to stay strong. I prefer these boots to my walking/running shoes.
It's a really nice boot BUT it was a bit tight across the instep so I went with the Ariat work boot instead. I liked the Wolverine if it hadn't felt tight across the top of the foot. And yes I loosened the laces and it still felt tight.
of all the Wolverine work boots, I like these best. They are comfortable, they go on your feet easily and they are not too heavy. I made a mistake and bought the higher priced Wolverine Gore-tex boots that are waterproof and they are heavy, they scuff very easily on concrete (picture a football skimming off concrete) and they are more difficult to put on. I decided to moth ball those boots and put a dark brown polish on them (to hide the scuff marks) and use the Wolverine W04906 boots as my everyday work boot.
I’ve owned a pair of wolverines in the past and was very happy with the fit and durability of them. This new pair didn’t let me down. They fit like a glove right out of the box. They’re comfortable to walk in look to to be well constructed. I highly recommend wolverine boots.
I have spent no small period of time looking for a pair of boots that it wasn't insisted that I have to "break in" and suffer for a month and a half while the shoe slowly destroys my arches and toes. These boots at a 10.5 4E actually fit my foot. I wear a 10.5 4H for comparison. They look good. The sole is soft, and squeaks a little on shiny surfaces. They fit. The speedlace hooks are VERY solid, well made and the sole is properly adhered to the upper. If you have a ludicrously wide foot, as a few men do, this is the boot. If you just wear a wide, you have lots of options. If you need a WIDE boot, this is your boot.
Took these out of the box and immediately took a 30 minute walk. Comfortable and fit great, just like they always have. Amazon recommended a full size larger but the usual size 10 is just right.
2 different size boots. When I received I opened the box, boots looked good, looked at size (one shoe) looked good, then set aside for when I needed them. Today I was going to start wearing them to break them in and I found the second shoe a different size. This is the 6th time I purchased this boot from Amazon, 5 on re-order. I always buy ahead of need so as last pair wears out I can break in new pair. Order was received on 9 May, I checked them as above immediately, I tried them (one of them) yesterday, 30 June & found the problem. I tried to contact somebody at Amazon but got nothing but an A.I. phone message saying tough luck, you should have paid more attention, you are past your 30 day return window. I love these boots for the work I do and the size fit & comfort. I’ve reordered 5 times. Hate the system that says, “no excuses, no means of review, you screwed up…….do you want to buy this item again?”
Love these boots, used to always buy several pairs from the store Sears when they were still in business. Super fast delivery, received is less than 3 days Outstanding. Will be buying several more, love the color and I highly recommend purchasing this item.
