Nice and worth the money. Light weight and very comfortable. True to size and they have enough room for heavy socks plus a shoe liner if necessary. They're pretty warm by themselves, but I'm a big believer that the more between you and the cold ground, the better. Not sure how they would hold up to sub zero, but I have much heavier boots for that. The quality seems as good as most athletic shoes I've had. I would say these are a great, warm boot for probably 95% of winter here near Chicago. Their lightweight makes them a winner for me..I hate clomping along in Frankenstein boots!Update: Well, had em out in -10 F and while they're warm enough for a short stint (with heavy socks), I wouldn't want to be out too long in them. But for 0° to 40°, they're great.
Bought to shovel snow. Fit great, comfortable, great traction, warm, and a great price. I love them.
I like the look, the color and the fit. When ordering they did not offer US size 9, my normal. They did not offer sizing by measurement like a previous purchase of Whitin shoes. I guessed at men's US size 8.5. Well I guessed right. I wear thick socks with them. I like them for the price.
Bought them for my husband for a trip and he mentioned me that his boots were the best purchase ever, kept him warm, lightweight, and cozy and kept his feet dry all time
Pretty demanding for footwear. These are incredibly comfortable. The leather (?) is surprisingly pliable and sturdy. The soles are much lighter than the photo might imply. Could easily wear these all day. Huge fan of WHITIN! Their approach to shoes is worth checking out. The boots don't disappoint!I will add, if you are looking for authentic all-day in the mud, work-boots, these might not be for you. Don't get me wrong; they will work well - they probably will not hold up as long as a traditional steel-work-boot - but the comfort (and price) make this an easy choice. Try them? You'll buy their other shoes....
The crease very easily. Not sure how long they will hold up.I do like how warm they are, just wish they had more "fur". They definitely need better insoles! They're very hard. The original picture of the boots are darker so I was a little disappointed when I opened them.Overall, they're decent. I just hope they last since I will only wear them during winter and don't leave the house much. Price wasn't bad. Forty for them.
I like how it is warm and stylish. It isn't the best for deep snow, but good enough.
First Thing Off The Bat I Wasn't Thrilled About The Celephane Packaged It Was Shipped In, And I Thought This Wasn't A Good Sign, It Needs A Little Arc Support For Me, Only One Thing I Didn't Like About These, And Its A Minor Issue But Its Important Also, The Boot Lases Are Not Rugged Enough,, On The Thin Side, Can Snap In Time. PS I would also recommend getting a larger size, if you plan to add insoles or thick winter socks. :)
