The straps are not very tight and it slips a little.
Love the design and the purple foral. The adjustable buckle and price were also good. However as a senior, a secure fit is a must. I found my foot sliding way too much on the slick foot bed, the width of the 8 just too wide and the straps will only adjust so far. Can't chance falling so returning.

I loved these sandals and bought them in 3 colors. The footbed is really cushy and comfortable. They are a tiny bit big meaning they don't hug the top of your foot and flop around a bit. Any time I order any White Mountain products from now on I order a 1/2 size down.However, during the summer I wore these sandals, within about 2-3 months each pair came apart right where the jute part is attached to the footbed. I tried gluing them a couple times but that didn't work. Would not recommend.
