The Under Armour Men's Valsetz RTS 1.5 Military and Tactical Boot in Black is specifically designed for athletes needing a comfortable fit, particularly those with extra wide feet thanks to its 4E sizing. Constructed from lightweight yet durable synthetic leather combined with an updated textile upper, these boots are made to withstand tough conditions while ensuring maximum comfort.
The UA ClutchFit ankle support system wraps around your ankles, providing targeted support where it's most needed. This boot also features a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) toe cap which offers additional protection against impacts, making it a great choice for tactical use as well as outdoor adventures.
Boot Model | Weight | Ankle Support | Toe Protection |

Salomon Quest 4 GTX | Medium | Adaptive Fit | Rubber Toe Cap |
Bates GX-8 Side Zip Boot | Heavy | Standard | Composite Toe |
In terms of performance, the Under Armour Men's Valsetz RTS 1.5 stands out due to its lightweight design and robust construction. The combination of synthetic leather and textile not only offers durability but also breathability, crucial for long durations of wear.
The UA ClutchFit ankle support system plays a pivotal role in this boot’s appeal. It conforms to the shape of your ankle, providing tailored support that helps prevent injuries when traversing uneven ground or engaging in strenuous activities.
When it comes to protection, the TPU toe cap is a notable feature. It adds an extra layer of safety, making these boots suitable for environments where foot protection is paramount. Moreover, the welded PU film surrounding the perimeter enhances the overall durability, making sure these boots can take a beating.
While the boots cater excellently to individuals with wider feet, users with narrow feet might find them slightly loose. Additionally, the weight of the boots may seem on the heavier side, which could deter some purists seeking ultra-light footwear.

Comfortable and easy to clean these are my 4 pair of under armour boots
My son requested these for work. He said they fit perfectly & are very comfortable
I've had several pairs of these boots, including the side-zip version. These are a great boot for duty or work on the flat range. I also took them hiking on a moderate level hike and they did great. If you're looking for a simple, light, affordable duty or range boot I'd recommend these. FYI I did need to get these a half size smaller than my normal size.
Great boot! Looks bada**, super light, works really good, and very comfortable! My one problem is the laces. They keep the boot tied and they are nice. but, they are already falling apart after let's say almost a month. But other then that, amazing boot!
I have flat feet and the boot definitely supports my feet well
Returned first pair because of textile to leather sole defects. Gave benefit of doubt, like others. Returning second pair due to VERY poor quality. Does NOT represent product description ("Wear as work boots, tactical boots, or even for hunting, hiking and construction - Perfect Outdoor Boots: Long-Lasting, Resistant Boots") whatsoever. I work at a powersports dealership (sitting 1/2 an 8 hour day) and bought these boots for a stylish, yet functional work boot. R&D needs to go back to the drawing board on this boot pertaining the the textile to leather sole binding - they separate, EASILY. Thought about super gluing back together but don't feel that I should have to. I've put sneakers through more, and still in better shape. Not worth the money, even on sale. This will not sway me from buying other under Armour products. Save the disappointment, believe the reviews; don't buy this boot.
Very comfortable and lightweight. Great for just throwing on to do errands or light work occasionally. If used a lot (I walk an average of 6,000 steps a day), they WILL get destroyed. Absolutely not waterproof. The crease that forms at toes will soon start to rip until there are big holes. Treads lasted about 8 months before soles and heels are flat (and dangerous)
