I ordered this shoe through Amazon because the UA site didn't have my size in the color I wanted. The first thing you notice when you put the shoe on is how "locked in" your foot feels. They have placed some extra padding at the heel (just below your achillies) that provides a secure feel you don't normally get with these "sock like" uppers that are common nowadays. The toe box is very roomy and allows good breath ability but is borderline too big. That however is the only thing that I could find to complain about. The shoe is incredibly stable for heavy lifts. Normally to accomplish this they just make the whole sole 1 piece but these have a channel right where the toe breaks to provide flexibility and comfort when jogging/running. I am very impressed so far if you couldn't tell. Waaaaayyyyy better than Nike Metcons I've tried. I've had these for almost a month of workouts 6x/week and they are holding up very well. No signs of breakdown other than being a little dirty. Will probably order these again unless they drop a newer version.... Definitely recommend.
The fit initially seemed tight, then I realized the value of the support and the fit. I'm very impressed with the quality of this shoe, the fit, the comfort, and the performance. I often do not wear shoes inside my home, however, I like these so much that I find that I wear them around the house now.
As soon as I put my pair on I was happy. Fit perfectly and super, super comfortable. The sole has perfect grip and these shoes are very stable when lifting. I was nervous about the bootie construction but would have nothing else now. Fits like a second skin. Great job on these Under Armour!
The Tri-Base Reign 2 is an awesome shoe and this color scheme makes a statement. They're extremely supportive and perfect for lifting weights at the gym. However, they do run a little narrow and I don't recommend long walks.
My son loves them. They fit well and look nice.
I have to use slim socks with them because otherwise they get really tight, but these shoes are awesome. I’m usually 12 on both Adidas and Nike (sometimes 11 1/2 depending on the shoe) and I ordered 11 1/2 and they fit great (take into account the socks). They’re really comfy for working out.
Runs small, and had to return
If you're looking for a great quality shoes, and your feet are "normal" you can't go wrong with this, great overall
