I am on my 3rd pair of these. There’s a reason I keep going back to them. They are comfortable and sturdy. I spend slot of time on hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt and they are very comfortable. After an 8 or 16 hour shift, my feet aren’t hurting. The only complaints I have are that the soles are kind of soft, great for comfort but they wear down a little faster than I’d like. Also it might be personal preference but I find the laces aren’t that good. Every pair I’ve had, the laces break long before the boots wear out. But if laces are all I really have problems with then that is fine by me.
I have to be careful w/shoes now due to loss of feeling in feet from diabetes. These are absolutely best fit of any size zip I have ever worn. I have been using different ones since 2010.The only downside is the soles are squeaky on tile, concrete…Also they are not nearly as good gripping as Bates and Danner’s, Cabellas…I have worn over they years. However they fit the BEST by major leaps and bounds!I wear them to the gym and have run in them a bunch as they fit better than running shoes. They have easy pull on straps on both sides and even feel awesome when not zipped up so they work great for quick on and off when just need them to run outside for something or to pop off when driving for long hauls and putting back on quick. Will buy again for sure.I am sooooooo hoping UA makes same boot w/better soles. If so I will buy 3 more pair right away just to have for future.
Lightweight and comfortable. NOT shineable if your dept policy requires a shine. Hiking, tactical, daily, gym. No problem.
After 10 months of use at a parts dept./warehouse, here are some pros and cons.Pros-Very comfortable on hard surfaces all day-Good support-The laces stay fairly tight if you only use the zip function and adjust every once in a while-Warm down to 30 degree weatherCons-Tread flat spot in the front after about 8 months-Wore through heel liner after 7 months-Not the best slip resistance on oily surfaces, fine with ice and snowOverall a good comfy boot especially for the price. I probably won’t buy a second pair as I need something that lasts longer and has more grip.
These boots are beyond amazing! The support and comfort as well as the durability for my career is a life saver. Thank you so much for making an affordable quality product!
They were a gift for my grandson. He is an EMT and is now training for a paramedic and needed new boots and those were perfect! Especially with the zipper fast and easy on and off.
Great lightweight boot used for urban environments. Soles feel good on concrete and have great traction. Great for indoor paintball or airsoft, or any of your tactical needs.
Until you walk on something even kind of slippery. Has got to be the most slippery soles on any set of shoes or boots I've owned. They are very comfortable, and really light weight..I mean they don't weigh anything and I love that part. No seams are letting go, the soles remain attached strongly to the upper, the zipper works well. Holding up nicely. But if you step on wet concrete, steps, tile floor, linoleum, mud, anything like that which may be even slightly damp or slick, you're going down. Do not wear these is wintery conditions you'll kill yourself.
