I usually wear a size 7.5. I ordered 7.5w because I saw a review that it was a little narrow. But when I try it on, It's a bit big. I added an extra sole. I think it's the right size.It feels good to wear because of the soles.
Shoes very well made. Fits just right. Looks great with slacks for some dressier occasions.
The loafers are very cute in the pictures. The actual quality of the shoes left much to be desired. I was very disappointed that ostensibly “new” shoes were stained and scuffed (in 6.0M, and in 6.5N) Secondly, the size scale was confusing and misleading. The insole was like an orthotic torture device. It was as though Marquis De Sade had moved to China in order to major in podiatry and specialize in ladies foot apparel. I tried to wear the shoes without the insole as well, which led to an unsightly puckering effect. Not exactly stylish. The size 6.0M loafers were too short, the 6.5N, - too narrow, and the size 6.5M – were too wide.Perhaps, these shoes will find their way to an owner who appreciates them, in spite of their many woes. Trotters may need to re-examine its manufacturing pipeline and quality control procedures.
I searched high and low for a shoe that was a bit like an oxford or loafer. But, I didn't want it to be a plain black. This red is a nice option. I have several things that match it in my closet already. It's a great shade of red that goes with a lot of things--not too orange or pink. They're also pretty comfortable. I got my usual 9.5W. It's possible that a 9W would have fit, but since I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet all day, I wanted to have a little extra room. They're nice and soft right out of the box, but they do keep your toes a little toasty, so I took off a star because they make my feet a little sweaty. I might wear them with little no-show socks if this becomes a problem, but I think they'll be just fine. Great purchase!
I wire trotters pumps for years. They always fit perfectly. However, the last two pair I ordered have been way to narrow.
I really like the look of this shoe and the color goes with a lot of things. I actually purchased this shoe twice, once in 8.5 wide and another in 8.5 medium. The wide got a little too wide after wear but the medium has been difficult to break in. I don't wear the same shoes everyday so I expected the medium size to take a while to loosen up, I'm hoping it will fit just right after it breaks in. Nonetheless, I love the shoe and it is comfortable for the majority of the day at the moment.
I've been searching for some comfortable flats to wear with jeans. These are good for that and dressy enough for more business attire as well.I treated mine to be water proof to make sure they didn't get ruined by the first unexpected rainshower. Suede, especially lighter colors are easy to get dirty.I hope to have these for several years so I'll let you know how they hold up.
These shoes were so many sizes too small that I didn’t even venture to exchange them for a bigger size. I returned them and will try a different brand.
