I love Trotters because they come in the difficult-to-find larger half size I require. Not all Trotters have fit as nicely as these did, but these are great. and truly the size I ordered. And uncharacteristically I ordered the "nude" color, not quite knowing what would show up at my front door -- partly because they were on sale, and they had my size They are a soft beige, and I love them, so I'm a happy Texas Lady with my new, comfy, attractive Trotter slip on shoes on. I am tempted to go back to the web site and get other colors in the same shoe.
I really like these slip on loafers. The leather is soft and the color is a beautiful tan. I ordered these in W and they still seem a bit narrow. They offer good arch support but don't expect to walk for hours in these. I wear them to the office but I sit for most of the day. Not sure if I can stand in these for the better part of the day.
The shoe is well made. I have a 9 "brick" foot (9 WW or 9E) with a very high instep and wide space across the metatarsal area. I have two pairs of this "Jenn" model and both are a consistent fit. The discreet stretch tabs allow just enough to get my foot into the shoe without a struggle while not interfering with the style. The heal is firm and not loose -- good fit. The toe box is roomy and I feel no pressure. Have no bunions or other foot quirks so I can't speak to their fit.The insole is not removable -- will not allow for my fullsized orthodics. But, I think it would take a half-sized one if the heel isn't cut too wide or a thin gel insert for extra cushion.Very pleased.
Sizing is off, not sure why as I have bought this shoe before from Amazon in another color & loved it & the same size was perfect. Now I have waited too long to return it!!!
I was so excited to try these out! They are so soft to touch, but not wide enough to get my foot in, and I ordered my size. I was so bummed to send them back.

I was thrilled to find a 13 Narrow and order 2 pr. In the past when Trotters were still made in USA almost all my shoes were Trotters but as with everything sent over to china I think just the name went and not the quality cut. They are a true narrow BUT the back of these shoes is almost straight up and down, so it doesn't hug the back of your foot. Just walking around the house I've lost it at least every other step. I will try a back heel pad on one pr. but the other will go back. Also there's no arch support, so will wear around house as slippers. What adds to the problem, when all the shoe companies went to china they drop the womens 12 1/2 so we are force to buy either too small or too long a shoe.
It is comfortable. The size fits perfect. The texture is beautiful. I love it.
