Had to return, too small for me. Should have ordered 6.5😢
With my bad knee, I have not been able to find nice, comfortable dress shoes for a long time. These not only look lovely (and make my large feet look smaller) but they are comfortable enough to wear all evening!
These are really cute shoes. I love the low heel that still looks dressy. I was so pleased to find these shoes and I ordered an 8.5 medium which is my usual size. I always buy medium width because my feet are between narrow and medium. My heels are quite narrow and slip out of shows unless there is a strap across the instep. When they came I could hardly squeeze my feet in them so I will return them. They are very tight across the toes and after having bunion surgery I don't want to develop more foot problems. 8.5 medium is stamped inside the shoes. I don't know if they just run very narrow or if this pair was not sized correctly. I am thinking about ordering another pair a half size bigger and see if the fit is better.
Finally a comfortable shoe for my slightly narrow foot! I normally wear size 6.5M or 7N but ordered size 7M of this shoe and it's perfect. Heel height and size is perfect for stability. I bought the pearl color and it's slightly shimmery but still very pretty.I purchased them to wear for ballroom dancing mostly. I tried them at a dance last night for the first time for a couple of hours and they were great. I love them, but the reasons why I did not give them 5 stars are as follows:1) Sometimes rubs up against my ankle joint (at the protruding part of the fibula). But this only happens if I'm stepping to the side during dancing, not during normal walking/standing.2) They are not cheap! I purchased them for $95 about a month ago, and I really want to buy another pair in a different color but they not exactly wallet friendly.
The Trotters are no longer a USA manufactured product. Quality of leather diminished, 9.5 Narrow fit wider a bit longer. No arch support. I have purchased this brand for 25+ years, one of the manufacturer’s could depend on for that great pair of shoes. Now at a complete loss of what to purchase.
This is the perfect shoe with the just right heel height for the older woman. They look smart and are perfect for a dressy look.

Wonderful and comfortable shoes. I wore these today for the first time to attend a funeral. I was worried that I might end up with a blister or some other foot pain because they were new. I wore them the entire day and they were still comfortable at the end of the day. Glad I got them .
