I have size-8 problem feet...high arches, narrow heels, and the need of a decent-width toe box due to bunions and the lingering effects of numerous broken toes and hammer toes. I was a bit nervous about ordering these shoes after reading reviews that said the toe box was not wide enough. But I remembered that my mother, from whom I inherited my problem feet, had worn Trotters for years and years and swore they were the only shoes she'd found that really fit and were comfortable. I am so glad I ordered these! I took them out of the box and put them on to wear for an all-day conference. I am 9 hours into my first day and must say, these are the most comfortable pumps I have had in recent memory. One thing I noticed that has helped...there is a small V section of elastic that is held together by a thread. A slight tug broke the thread and allows the toe box to expand slightly. Perfect for my needs!

I have bought this shoe style for many years and it's one of the most comfortable shoes that I've owned. I have a very narrow foot and therefore it is hard to find shoes that fit and feel good. I would recommend this style to someone that wants a conservative shoe for work, meetings, etc. and wants to appear professional and comfortable at the same time.
