The Trotters Women's Aubrey Loafer Flat in Navy is designed to provide not just style but also comfort for everyday wear. The standout feature of this loafer is its bold buckle ornament, which adds a touch of elegance to the classic design.
One of the key advantages of the Aubrey loafer is its easy slip-on construction, enhanced by a tiny v-gore for fitting ease. This makes the loafers incredibly user-friendly, allowing you to put them on quickly without fuss.
Crafted from wonderful soft nappa leathers, these shoes feel luxurious against your skin. The slight heel offers a small lift, ensuring that you don’t compromise on comfort while still looking fashionable. Moreover, the removable footbed provides the opportunity for customized fitting, catering to those who may require additional support or personal insoles.

When it comes to loafers, the Trotters Women's Aubrey stands out not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its practical features. The soft nappa leather gives it an elegant finish, suitable for both casual outings and more polished events.
The cushioning provided by the removable footbed is a major plus, especially for those who spend long hours on their feet. It offers adequate arch support, which may be particularly beneficial for women who suffer from foot fatigue. The lightweight and flexible rubberized sole further enhances comfort, making these loafers a wise choice for daily use.
However, it's important to note that some users have reported needing a short period to break them in. If you’re particularly sensitive to shoe stiffness, consider wearing them for shorter periods initially. Additionally, the sizing options can be a limitation; currently, they only go up to 6.5 W US. If you're looking for wider options, exploring other brands might be necessary.

I have very narrow feet and have always had a hard time finding shoes that fit me. I've known about Trotters since I was a little kid (used to be called Old Maine Trotters). They have always been dependable for fitting narrow feet with quality and comfort. This style, the Aubrey Loafer Flat, does not disappoint. I love them! I have two other pairs in the Sizzle style, which I also love.
These shoes are beautiful and they seemed comfortable. However, I had to return them because they were too big in the heel and my foot kept coming out of the shoe when walking. They issued me a refund as soon as they received them back.
The style is lovely. It looks well made. They are are a tiny bit large. I am hoping a moleskin patch will stop the slipping heel.
Very true to size. Nice looking. Nothing fancy though. Would not consider a dressy shoe, but very well made and classy.
This shoe is comfortable and appears to be of good quality.
Didn't fit
Painful to wear even for short distances and matronly.
The fit is OK. A bit stiff. I was looking for a casual shoe that I could wear with slacks and skirts as well as jeans. It is OK. Just not very attractive. But when you wear 11N, beggars can't be choosers.
