I actually have a pair myself from many years back and decided to get this for my mom. She loves it.. it’s comfortable and warm and fuzzy inside and the style is perfect for any fall or winter occasion can be dressed up or down. They run according to size. But then it’s the only boots you’ll need!
I bought my first pair at Ollie’s proof that some things are worth buying there. That was four years ago. When I went looking on Amazon for the same brand and style I jumped on it and glad I did. The more I wear them the more I like them. They’re as comfortable as my cowboy boots! Hard to find things that bring everything to the table in one product.
This is my second pair of waterproof Totes boots. They last for a long time and look really cute. My first pair had a higher shaft but I like this style much better. They are plenty long enough to tuck your pant legs into. They are a nice looking boot! I usually wear a 6.5 wide but 7 med fits perfectly. A little snug across the toes but they feel like they will will break in fine so the toes won't be so snug.
I bought these boots because they were said to be waterproof (not just water resistant, like some boots). They do seem to keep my feet dry, although we've only had a few inches of snow to try them out in so far. They are very warm in both the foot and the calf. I bought a half-size larger than usual, as I tend to do with boots, and the size is okay, not perfect. They fit better when I'm wearing heavy or double socks; otherwise they're a bit larger than I really need, especially in the heel area. My feet are wide, and the wide width is adequate in the foot. The boots zip up very easily, so they are more than wide enough in the calf.Every shoe and boot purchase seems to involve a compromise of some sort. With these boots, there are a few things I don't like. The foot part is rather stiff--I guess because it is a waterproof material. Also, there is a one inch heel, and I wish I had kept searching for a waterproof boot that is totally flat. I am used to wearing flat shoes nearly all the time, and I feel less safe walking in the snow and ice on a raised heel, even just an inch. I would prefer complete contact with the ground. I walk a lot. These boots feel comfortable when I first put them on and for the first hour or two of walking, but my feet get tired in them as the hours go on. I think this is mainly because of the raised heel.I like the snowflake design and the softness and warm lining of the calf part of the boots. However, the toe part of the boot is rectangular rather than rounded, and I find that ugly. The boots would look and feel better with a rounded toe.
I had Totes before and these did not disappoint quality wise. I normally wear 7W but had to return and size up to 7 1/2 W for more toe room. A little narrow for wide as well. I have a terrible time with footwear.I was on the fence but ok.
These were a gift for my mother in law. She loves them The boots are comfortable, keep her feet warm and are easy to clean. This is her second pair.
I like the boots. I ordered a 8.5, I recieved a 7m.I am taking them to Goodwill. Someone will be blessed.
I had gotten a pair of these boots a few years ago, and absolutely loved, couldn’t believe I got so lucky to find the maker in the exact boot! These boots are so comfortable and wear so well, go with everything, great for rain, cold weather, and snow. I’ll buy them over and over and over again. (when needed. :-) !
