TOMS are casual, comfortable, and durable shoes that fit well and go with just about everything. If I could have a pair in every single color, I would. Other knockoff brands are just not the same. Believe me, I've tried them. My cousin has been a loyal TOMS customer for years. She wears them all the time and is the reason I got into them. Now, my five-year-old daughter and I both have our own pairs and we both love to wear them. You cannot go wrong with these shoes. I've had the red canvas slip-ons for well over two years now and they have not started to fall apart, nor are they faded and dingy. Again, you can't go wrong.
Comfortable fit and great use for many cute outfits!
This is my 4th or 5th navy Tom’s purchase. Socks, no socks, these shoes are perfect with casual ankle length jeans, or shorts. They appeal to all generations of women. My daughter, Grand-daughter, and myself, all wear the same size shoes. If we are home from college and visiting grandmother’s house, this grandmother has a hard time tracking down her shoes. Comfy shoes that wear well.
I read a lot of reviews on these before purchasing. A lot of reviews said they were knockoffs. I am not so sure they are. Compared to a pair I have from Nordstroms, they seem just fine. I think a potential reason you can get these cheaper at Amazon is due to quality inconsistencies. Though I don't equate that to "fake". As far as my pair, 5.5 all black, they're fine. The label isn't crooked or anything. They are a little snug, but I recall that with my other TOMS and they loosen up, so it's not a concern for me - I only mentioned it since they may be a TAD snigger than my Nordy ones.Bottom line, if I can save a few bucks a get 2 day shipping, I'm likely going to go that route every time.
TOMS shoes are comfortable, look great and wear well. Fit is true to size. This is my second pair, and I'm saving them for vacation to Grand Cayman because I know I'll wear them all the time there! My niece gave the same ones to members of her bridal party to wear when their feet got tired in the pumps....she got married on July 4, so she gave some of the bridesmaids blue ones and some got red ones. I have the red shoes now, and can't wait to wear them with jeans or shorts!
I started taking Salsa lessons a few months ago (my boyfriend is a fantastic and serious dancer - how lucky am I??) - and one of my Salsa teachers actually suggested getting a pair of Toms for dancing! In fact, that is her regular 'street' shoe for dancing (and she's crazy-good)!I do have a couple of pairs of real dancing shoes (which have suede on the bottom, so you can't wear them outside (actually mine have artificial suede because they are vegan dancing shoes :-) )) - but when just going out regular dancing, like to a club or a party, who wants to have bring along a special pair of shoes?.. change into them, etc.. - not to mention that if you do that people kind of expect you to be a good dancer (which I'm not.. yet ;-) ).Being able to just wear these Toms as regular shoes, and then being able to dance in them when you get to where you are dancing is *awesome*! The non-grippy and relatively flat sole means that you can slide your foot on the dance floor, you can do turns, etc., without your shoe grabbing the floor.I have two pairs now - I have them in red, and black. :-)
I love these shoes they are perfect size and very comfortable, I had already bought a pair before and I use them to work so had to get myself another pair for when my original pair worns out. Love them
My second pair of TOMS. They look like nothing, but these shoes are unbelievably comfortable. I have worn them walking for hours, with no problem. I have very hard to fit short feet with very wide toes, but the canvas stretches perfectly, and my toes are not crunched. Support - again, it looks like nothing but there is plenty of good arch support. For someone who has returned more shoes than I have kept, these are at the top of my list. Now, if they'd only figure out how to make warm winter shoes...
