Yes it's tight at first that's how toms are. The are cute and matched with everything. After a day of wearing them they are already broken and comfortable. I teach in these and a little extra height helps a lot.
When i first put them on, they were a little loose. so i suggest a half size smaller. but they are comfortable and i love them.
If you like putting torture devices on your feet then these are the shoes for you. I originally ordered these in my regular size, which is the same size I wear in all TOMS shoes. They were so tight when I put them on that I thought they were going to amputate my feet. I sent them back and ordered a half size up. They too were pretty tight but I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in. I've been wearing (make that, suffering through) them for a few weeks now, and occasionally have to take them off because the discomfort is so unbearable. This is not a good look while driving or in the middle of my son's baseball game, or while walking through public places. Because hope springs eternal, I put them back on this morning and got so desperate for relief from the constriction that I used a scissor to cut the elastic gore. Alas, that didn't even help. They must have shaped and fitted these shoes on the feet of mannequins, because everyone knows those plastic dummies can't scream. Save your money, and your feet, and buy a different pair of shoes.
They look great but the uppers are very stiff and at times hard to get on. For being TOMS I expected it to be softer. I wear them but can only wear for shorter periods of time.I gave them one less star for that reason.
This shoe is very poorly made. I couldn't keep it on my feet even for a few hours let alone all day at work.
I really like it. Wear it and feel comfortable. And most importantly, it’s light.
I only wear Toms. I wear them every single day and have them in about 5 colors. I typically replace them every 6-9 months when they get gross. These are so incredibly stiff and uncomfortable. They're cute, and the price was great which is why I ordered and why I gave it 3 stars. However, I ordered my typical size and I couldn't even get my foot inside the shoe. So I ordered a half size bigger and same thing. The shoes are on, but my feet are throbbing because they're so tight. I'm not playing the exchange game again for another size so I'm just going to hope that they break in and loosen up, but I'm not very hopeful. If you order, order an entire size larger than you think you need.
