The TOMS Men's Santiago Loafer Flat stands out for its unique combination of casual elegance and thoughtful design. The smoking slipper-inspired silhouette effortlessly transitions from day to night, making it perfect for both laid-back outings and semi-formal occasions. The textile and suede materials provide durability while ensuring breathability, ensuring your feet stay comfortable throughout the day.
One of the standout features of these loafers is the OrthoLite Eco LT Hybrid insoles. Made with a significant amount of recycled and bio-based materials, these insoles offer excellent cushioning and support, reducing foot fatigue during extended wear. The jute-wrapped midsole not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also enhances the overall comfort, creating a stable base.
In terms of care, the machine washable fabric is a major plus, allowing you to maintain cleanliness without hassle. However, potential buyers should note that while the loafer is stylish, it might feel snug for those with wider feet. Additionally, the color palette is somewhat limited, which might deter some who prefer a broader selection.

I didn't think I had wide feet until I got the shoes. They were pretty narrow. I also have high arches and they were very difficult to get my feet in when I first bought them. Once I got them on my feet, I walked around the house for a couple of days trying to get them to loosen up. They finally listen to the point that I can wear them out of the house and not worry about losing circulation to my toes. For what they are, they're great shoes. I half size bigger would not have helped.
Look great and very nicely made. Only complaint is they run way larger than size. Ordered a 10 and they fit like an 11.
It's a comfortable shoe, a bit larger than I anticipated but that worked out for me since I'm in between a 10.5 and 11 and like the extra space on my 10.5 shoe. The look is definitely an acquired taste, but it doesn't look at all bad in person. I feel a bit like a hipster wearing them though. The sole gives you a purported 3mm so it's not the thickest soled shoe and it's a flat heel so very little heel raise.I like the way they designed the heel because it is easy to slip on and off, but I worry about it chafing the back of my heel so I have as of yet not been courageous enough to try these without ankle socks.7/10 I would recommend them. I hope this review is helpful.
I'm typically wary of loafers, since they usually don't fit well and end up giving me blisters. While I haven't gone on any long walks with these shoes, so far even brand new they didn't give me any trouble. They're a little bit loose, but that's fine for me since I have wide feet, and putting on a pair of socks usually does the trick. More of a casual shoe for sure, but very comfortable!
My husband said these shoes are great now that they're broken in! We are big TOMS fans in this house - they're comfy and go with casual outfits :) I like the way they look on him...they look kinda classy hehe. Good product!
Tom's is the type of brand that you compare other shoes too. They have an iconic, simple look, and they are known for donating their profits and allowing others to have similar free shoes. These Tom's are no exception, they are made of a soft canvas, with an interesting rope style stitching, and a solid sole. They fit true to size and they slip on comfortably. Many soft shoes require you to be pulling at the tongue in order to let the foot go in, but these are sturdy enough where you could just slip them on but also have a tight fit around your ankle.Tom's also remain a very popular shoe brand, and if you're going to be dictated by fashion you might as well also have something comfortable. Tom's are good mix of comfort and popular style.
First, I nearly always order men's size 10.5 for footwear. But I read somewhere that these might run a bit big. So, I ordered 10 instead, and I'm so glad I did. 10.5 would be falling off my feet. The size 10's go on and off easily, but they are not too loose. If you're between sizes, definitely order on the small side.Having said that...I've never owned loafers before. My typical summer footwear is sandals, almost all the time. If not, then sneakers. But I liked the looks of these loafers, and thought they might be a nice casual alternative to my sandals.I'm so glad I tried them. They are exceptionally comfortable. Nice for lounging around. I wear them with casual shorts and a t-shirt and summer just feels easy and breezy. Well, maybe that's an overstatement, but I sure am happy with these. If you're looking for relaxing footwearr this summer, these are worthy of consideration. Just order a bit smaller than you usually order.
