These are the best classic TOMS. They sell some that have a recycled rubber insole, and it is kind of thick and makes the shoes a little too tight. These have the pig suede foot bed made inside of them and are perfect.I normally wear a 12½, but they do not offer half sizes this big so I got a 13, and they are just less than half an inch too long, but fit great. They are a little tight on the ball of my foot, but as I have found with all TOMS the canvas stretches after a couple of days and they are great.
For all the ladies looking to purchase this shoe: please remember it is sized for MEN, it is the MENS model of the classic Alpargata. I repeat: The sizing you see above is for men. So if you order a 7, thinking of the size 7 ladies Tom's you have in your closet, these will be at least 1.5 sizes too big for you.I, myself, am a woman. The were shipped by a third party but are still completely authentic Tom's.A word to the wise: once you've broken these in and wear them regularly, try not to get them soaking wet. As in, do not submerge in water. It can warp the (p)leather sole, and they will stink to high heavens, as if somehow releasing all the dirty feet smell they previously contained & kept at bay. This goes for all canvas lined, leather/pleather soled Toms. That certainly shouldn't be a delabreaker though.
My feet are extra wide (EEE) so I didn't expect these to fit. But they do. Exactly. Very comfortable casual shoe. True to size and red was a great color choice. If you have flat feet, this does not offer much arch support. If you have an arch, this is a great casual shoe.
I love Toms! I use most of the time to go to work, but its so comfortable that I go out with them sometimes! At first fits a little tight, but after wearing for a day it was perfectly shaped to my feet
I love TOMS, this is probably my 8th pair. This model in particular was too tight across the arch. They’re beautiful and well made, don’t take me wrong, but you may want to order a half size up if you have a high arch like me.
I've always liked Toms but I feel like the quality has gone down on them quite a bit. I felt like what I received weren't real Toms! I've purchased these before years ago. The fit is fine, the shoe is fine! I simply wear them to take out the dogs but I wouldn't wear this in public anymore as the color has faded quite a bit and I don't leave them or wear them in the sun!
