Really really comfortable, nice looking, waterproof. Like these better than my Columbia boots I just bought a couple of months ago! Wish I could return those and have another set of these to keep in my car.
Great fit, and very comfortable hiking boots.
I have bought “Waterproof “ hiking boots before. I have Sorel and Columbia and they both have waterproof in their descriptions of their boots. They are definitely not waterproof. I have finally found an actual pair of “Waterproof “ boots! These boots are so light and comfortable to wear. They stood up to the notorious PNW windstorm/ rainstorm. They kept my feet nice and warm and dry! Will definitely buy another pair.
I read the reviews before ordering. First, the boots are cute, more girly than bulky others. The length is true to size. They are new leather so they are tight, but I walked around the house wearing 2 pair of thick socks, not comfortable, but it gave the stretch and break in needed. They next day the boots got even looser and the toe break loosened quickly. They are warm and comfortable but I wouldn't do a 5 mile hike in them. They are more cushioned than my old Timberlands which won't wear out. The grip is also good. I took a star because of the tightness and hoping they will loosen even more.UPDATE: I did do a 5+ mile hike in these and they were fine. If wearing a thick sock I would go up a half size but I found thinner socks and they work fine.
I wore Timberland boots in college and loved the look, price, and comfort. Plus, that they’re waterproof was the reason to return to the brand.
I like this boot; however, I decided to return it because of insufficient roominess inside, a personal preference. I wear a 7.5M, and the length was perfect, but the boot felt narrower than I prefer for a medium width. I suspect if a person has wide feet it might not work at all, and for some mediums it'd probably be fine, but I personally like a tad more room to wiggle my toes. In the same order I also purchased a Columbia hiking boot, and I liked that the Columbia has a wider sole, which I think will provide more stability for me. But this Timberland boot seems to be excellent quality and could be perfect for someone other than me.
I wear a 7 and that's what I ordered and they fit well for me. However, my feet run hot so I wear trouser socks in the winter (basically nylons) so if you wear a sock with any kind of thickness at all you might want to size up a bit. Other than that, they're comfortable and have not required much break-in.
I bought these boots because of positive reviews saying they are leather; however, they are not. I am so disappointed. The product description itself is not as describe. They are light weight because they are not leather. I am wondering whether they are waterproof as describe. It says weather proof, I have no idea what it meant. Yes! they are comfortable and fit perfectly as size 7.5. The shaft may bother you if you are not used to with ankle boots. The price was thought to be great deal, but not anymore because they are not leather. So disappointed. Check product description carefully, it has to say specific words, so you can get a real deal. They are not nonskid, so it is no snow traction.
