I love Love Love these shoes! I’m a nurse so I’m on my feet for 12 or more hours and these shoes save my feet, legs and lower back from fatigue and aches. The fit can be a little tricky, I’m normally an 8 1/2 but in these shoes I’m an 8. I know this because I bought a white pair for nursing school and had to send them back for an 8. I wear compression socks with them and they fit just fine. I feel like they stretched out just a little tiny bit but they not enough to make them slip or too big. I feel like I’m walking on clouds when I wear these shoes and do not notice any pain or discomfort when wearing them. I’ll be purchasing another pair soon. Excellent quality, I’m very pleased with these shoes. Also easy to wipe down after being in an isolation room.
After reading reviews and doing some research I bought the Timberland Pro Renova Pro shoes. I work in a pharmacy and am on my feet 13 hours 3 days a week. Very long days!! My tennis shoes were wearing out quicker and not giving me the support I needed. When I purchased these shoes, I had also ordered a pair of Reeboks just in case, and also I needed another pair of tennis shoes. I received my Timberlands on a Monday night, after I had worked a 13 hour day. I put them on the next morning and while I was working I had forgotten I even had shoes on. By the end of the day and night, my legs were not sore, my feet were not hurting and my lower back was not aching!! I LOVE these shoes. I look forward to putting them on everyday! Seriously! I even wore them out shopping this past weekend and enjoyed walking, and not being tired. I recommend them to anyone who works on their feet all day. They are stylish, many people, including my manager, who is a man commented on them and what a good looking shoe they are. He was even go to buy his wife a pair. The sizing is correct, I wear a 7 1/2 and it fit perfectly. Also, this is my 1st review on any product. I just felt compelled to let others know who are thinking about buying a pair to do so, it is worth the investment.
I have 3 pairs of Timberland Pro Renova shoes, and I love them. I take size 8 1/2, and have a wide foot with both a high arch and a high instep. Style-wise, I prefer slip-ons, mules, or clogs, but they are often too narrow and too tight across my instep (elastic gores are a must). I ordered these in my true size, in a C/D width, and they fit just right with plenty of toe room. They are a stable, secure shoe with great arch support, and comfortable padding from heel to toe. If I were to downgrade them at all, it would be because they are a rather heavy shoe, but the pros so far outweigh this con that for me, they still rate 5 stars. Excellent quality, too, especially when you can get them at a deep discount, as I did. The color of these is a beautiful, rich dark brown.
After reading reviews on here about surgical staff who love these shoes, I purchased these shoes from Timerbland directly & once they came, I realized the size didn't fit right. Since they were cheaper here, I purchased them from Amazon & sent the others back. Weeks after sending them back I still hadn't received a refund so I called Timberland & they said they shipped them back to me because "they were worn". I wore them for maybe 2 minutes around my living room. They had no tracking number & now I'm in the middle of a BBB dispute trying to get my refund. Meanwhile, the pair I bought from Amazon I've been wearing for less than a month and they ARE DESTROYED! They look like they're a year old. Maybe that's why Timberland thought they were worn after 2 minutes of use? The ones that I'm actually wearing at work are peeling all over and the seams on the sides are frizzy and wearing thin. I have never in my life seen my work shoes look so awful so quickly. They're pretty comfortable, but not *that* good and the quality is just absolutely awful, especially for $100! Don't buy them, not on Amazon and DEFINITELY not from Timberland.
This shoe fit very well, but I just wasn't a fan of how it looked. The toe box is nice and wide, but there's even more additional material that juts out from the sides, making your foot look more clunky and bigger than it is. I didn't really like that design, so I decided to return them. The cushioning in the sole was pretty nice. The heel did feel a bit narrow around my own heel, but it was tolerable. The heel isn't very high, so you won't feel like you're wearing high heels. There appears to be good grip at the bottom of the foot. Overall, the shoe looks like it would be fairly easy to clean as well. If not for the design, I probably would have kept this shoe. It's a good shoe, just not my type.
I recently got a job that involves standing for about 8 hours at a doctor's office. The shoes I was using were very comfortable but I am not used to standing for so long so my feet began hurting and my lower back was killing me. My husband is a chef and he uses shoes of a similar style so I decided to try them and these had good reviews so why not.I got the 8.5 as that is normally my size but realized I got the 8.5B and I could not get my foot into the shoe. I exchanged them for the wide ones and voila, they fit perfectly. I've used them for about 3 days now and from day one I've have zero back pain (which was driving me crazy as I regularly don't have back pain). My feet are still bothering me (though considerably less than they were before these shoes) after a long day but I also have heel spurs so I don't expect these to perform miracles. It's just amazing how my back pain is gone.Update Edit 1/14/15These shoes have slowly but surely become very loud after wearing them for a few months. I still don't have back pain which is great and I have not stopped using them, but they're very loud against the floor and even on their own (when I shift my weight from one leg to the other, the shoes creak so loudly! Not good when being in a tiny quiet room in a Doctor's office). I think I will be looking for a different pair soon because I can't take the noise anymore.
