The Teva Women's Olowahu Flip-Flop is more than just a sandal; it embodies the spirit of outdoor adventure that Teva has been known for since its inception in the early 1980s. The Teva Women's Olowahu Flip-Flop stands out for its commitment to comfort and functionality. With a cushy contoured Mush footbed, each step feels like walking on clouds. This innovative footbed is complemented by a decorated thong strap that adds a stylish twist while maintaining security through two cross straps. Whether you are strolling on the beach or hiking along a trail, these sandals provide adequate support and stability.
One significant advantage of the Olowahu Flip-Flop is its lightweight design, which makes it perfect for travel. You can easily slip them into your bag without worrying about bulk. The EVA outsole, featuring the unique Mush traction pattern, ensures that you won’t slip easily on wet surfaces, providing peace of mind during your adventures.
However, it’s important to note that while these sandals excel in several areas, they may not cater to everyone's needs when it comes to arch support. Those with specific foot conditions might find themselves needing additional orthotic solutions. Additionally, the fit of the straps can be snug for wider feet, which could pose a minor inconvenience.
In summary, the Teva Women's Olowahu Flip-Flop offers an excellent blend of style, comfort, and practicality, making them an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts looking to embrace nature without sacrificing aesthetics.

Update 7/17/23It's a year after my first purchase and I just bought 2 more pairs of these. I really like the color options and quality of the flip flops. I get compliments on them all the time. I have worn them for entire day trips with plenty of walking and my feet never get sore.I bought these because I'm tired of tripping on stairs in traditional thong style Flip Flops. My sister broke her foot running up stairs with regular flip Flops on.As for the fit. I am a 7 and ordered the 7. I have plenty of room front and back. My heal and toes do not hang off. I do have a narrow foot and the straps fit perfect. I hope they do not stretch out. The straps are not elastic and are not adjustable.A wide foot would probably have a little difficulty unless a Wide option is available. The strap color is very fun and vibrant gray, pink with a little blue.I just wore them to load the trailer. Multiple trips up and down stairs and they worked great. The sole is comfortable but no arch support. Not a deal breaker for me.
I am one of those Amazon customers that rarely takes a chance on a product that doesn't have stellar reviews; I also go straight to the one-stars and read those first. There were about 795 five-star reviews for these sandals and 3 or 4 one-stars so did something absolutely CRAZY and skipped reading the one-stars - I know, insane, right? When they first arrived, the left sandal's straps were a bit loose and I was sad. But I wore them anyway because I am a stubborn donkey like that and I am NOT paying return shipping for anything under $10,000 and within an hour it had magically molded itself to fit my foot!! The right sandal fit from the get-go (maybe I'm right-footed? I'm right-handed after all) so it was finally a perfect fit all around. I like these so much I've been mentally planning on buying another pair soon...like maybe once I'm done with this review. In all seriousness, they have an excellent footbed. I don't have a flatfoot, or high arches or any kind of special foot-need like that so I cannot comment in that capacity; but as your run-of-the-mill "foot" they are great. They are far superior in my opinion to Rainbows because they offer better support, the toe doesn't have that nasty habit of folding under and tripping you and the multiple straps keep the sandal on much better, which is a bonus for us "old people." (full disclosure: I am 37). I can even run after my 2-year-old in these which is *not* possible in Rainbows. I love the colors in the Waterfall Blue as well. I have a lot of blue in my wardrobe, but they go with most anything. I've worn them with shorts, skinny jeans, and capris so far. I'm not a skirt fan but they'd work there too. I'm excited to see the tan line they'll produce, I've grown weary of the standard Rainbow tat that stays on my medium-toned skin all year long.If you're also looking to branch out from Rainbows or your usual summer sandal, give these a try. I've worn Tevas in the past and these don't have the hard footbed of the old-school sandal circa 1995 that came with the adjustable toe and ankle straps. These are soft as a cloud, yet with support. These are awesome, says a tries-to-stay-in-style mom of three (and I homeschool and I don't wear skirts - I've just blown your mind). Enjoy!!!
I wore my old pair out, glad I was able to replace. Cute and comfortable
I, like a lot of other reviewers, have had these in the past as well and they are just soo super comfortable I decided to purchase another pair. I bought this pair in January, and have been wearing them daily since. Yes, they look a bit different than my last pair, but, they are just as comfortable and durable as the other older pair. I think the company just updated their styling a bit. These fit just as well as my older ones (I wear a size 8 and that's the size I bought). If you need a durable, casual sandal that stays on your feet as you walk your neighborhood or do your gardening, I recommend these.
I personally own three pairs of these flip flops in different colors. This pair was for my nine-year-old who tried mine on one day and fell in love with the comfort. I hurt my ankle many years ago, and regular flip flops make my foot/ankle ache after a few hours' wear. These provide all day comfort, even when I'm doing a lot of walking....and no aching ankle! They have more arch support than regular flip flops and the extra straps keep me from having to grip them with my toes. Size-wise, I wear these in a half size down from what I usually wear (normally an 8 1/2 but I get these in an 8). I have a pretty average width foot, while my daughter's feet run on the narrow side - these flip flops seem to accommodate us both. As for price vs. durability - I used to balk at paying $25 for a pair of flip flops, but these last forever. My first pair is over ten years old and I still wear them comfortably. They do squish down a bit with many miles of wear, but that's just a really good excuse to buy a new pair in a different color and add to my collection!
Good for long walks- good support and don't flap around
Had a set of these and they got stolen. I had to find them again, so comfortable and stylish!
Not comfortable for me
