When considering the Terra Men's Venom Composite Toe Work Shoe, the first thing you'll notice is its sleek design, which resembles that of an athletic sneaker rather than a traditional work shoe. This makes it an appealing choice for those who prioritize aesthetics without compromising safety.
In terms of comfort, the Venom excels. The moisture-wicking lining effectively manages sweat throughout the day, while the premium PU footbed provides cushioning and support. It's essential to note, however, that some users have reported needing a brief break-in period for optimal comfort, particularly if you’re accustomed to more rigid safety footwear.
The safety features are nothing short of impressive. The CSA Grade 1 Composite Toe ensures that your toes are well protected from heavy impacts, whereas the puncture-resistant composite plate adds another layer of defense against sharp objects on the ground. Furthermore, being entirely metal-free makes these shoes a suitable option for workers in environments with metal detectors.
Moreover, the slip-resistant outsole is designed for optimal traction, which is critical when moving around potentially hazardous work areas. The addition of water-resistant materials helps keep your feet dry during unexpected showers or spills, providing peace of mind as you navigate your daily tasks.
Overall, the Terra Men's Venom Composite Toe Work Shoe stands out as a reliable option that meets both comfort and safety standards. If you're searching for a durable work shoe that doesn’t sacrifice style, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Light and comfortable for a safety shoe. It has great tread and the insole it comes with is one of the best insoles by a shoe company. Excellent quality. Plus, they look good!
I received the shoes, opened the box and found that the shoes were three sizes to big. I thought maybe I mistakenly ordered the wrong size so I checked my order and what I ordered was correct. I looked at the box they came in and the size on the box was correct for what I ordered. Someone at some point placed size 12 shoes in a size 9 box. Honest mistake in sending although I feel they should check to make sure what the box says is actually what is inside. I had no problems exchanging them for size 9. Of course I checked the size right away when I received them and size 9 is what I received. The quality of the shoe is great, customer service through the size mix up was great, the shoes are very comfortable. I only have one issue with them and that is the fit is large for the size they are. I wear a size 9 in the majority of shoe brands that I have purchased but these fit more like they are at least a half size bigger. While the shoe is on I can fit my fingers between my heel and the inside back of the shoe. The size on the shoe clearly says 9 but they are running a half to a full size bigger. I still love the shoes and gave it a 4 star rating, just keep in mind that, at least the pair that I have run bigger than normal. If I order another pair in the future I will order a half size smaller than what I normally wear.Overall, Great product!
Quality seems good, well made. Nice and light. I ordered a size lower on everyone's advice, but they turned out too small. Thankfully Amazon's exchanges are super easy. I swapped for my usual size and they fit well. Maybe a tiny bit narrow in the toe.
Tongue was way to stiff and should be about 1' longer. The tongue, having no flexibility on the front edge dug into the upper part of my ankle. I could not wear them for even 5 minutes, feeling like the tongue was cutting into me.
These are the best looking safety shoes I've seen. However, I returned them as a result of a pretty significant design flaw. When I tried them on, I had pain across the top of my foot, which I thought was very strange. When I took the shoe off and looked inside, I saw that that the tongue has a lot of excess material on it. So when you put your foot in the shoe, the excess material rolls under itself (see photos), creating painful pressure points across the top of your foot. I was tempted to get some scissors and cut off the excess material, because I think that would fix the issue, but I decided to return them instead, fearing that I may cut them and they still hurt and then they wouldn't take them back since I would have damaged them. Also, the laces in the shoes are too short. You have to not use the top eyelets in order to have enough lace to tie the shoes.
If you need a quick fix for some work shoes/boots then these are not bad. However, the tongue should be a bit longer to ensure the best fit.
I originally ordered up a 1/2 size because I tend to be in between sizes and I ended up having to return them for the whole size. Shoes are comfortable. I work on concrete and my feet still feel good after my shift.
Just wrong size, but probably cool
