Comfort: One of the standout features of the Terra boots is their comfort level, thanks to the cushioned footbed and moisture-capturing frost plug insole. These elements work together to absorb shock and contour to your foot's shape. However, some users may find themselves needing a few days to fully break them in.
Durability: Made with waterproof full-grain leather and sealed seams, the durability of these boots is commendable. They can handle wear and tear effectively while providing reliable waterproof capabilities. This means they can be used in both dry and wet working environments without compromising performance.
Traction: The high-traction thermal-tested rubber outsole ensures that you have a secure grip, which is vital when working in slippery or uneven conditions. The diamond cleat design enhances grip, allowing you to move confidently across challenging surfaces.
Safety Features: Featuring a composite toe and plate, these boots comply with ASTM and CSA safety standards, making them ideal for construction sites and other heavy-duty tasks. This protective feature doesn’t compromise comfort, maintaining a lightweight feel.
Overall Impression: If you are searching for work boots that deliver on both safety and comfort, the Terra Men's 10 in Crossbow Composite Toe Insulated Waterproof Construction Boot should be at the top of your list. I have put these boots to the test. I work on the railroad currently in Montana mountains. It was -15 degrees with other multiple days in the negative temperature (see picture of proof). My job works outside in any climate for 10 hours a day. These boots hold up to the cold weather extremely well. My feet stayed warm the hole time! I did have a little chill at the toe but that's expected due to the composite toe. Also I have two other coworkers that can back this review up as well. If you're looking for extreme cold weather boots these are it!!!!!
Great made boot. Insert for warmth is heavy duty the boot is made great and will last.
REALLY WARM, BUT SUPER BIG AND BULKY
Boots are Huge.... but no problem with sizing of foot. Cheap though so I will use in winter time or winter survival. If you do construction in the winter Buy them!
I bought these boots for work in the Arctic in -30. They are very warm, footing is stable. Overall they are large boots but to be expected with the insulation. Downside for me was they aren’t breathable so feet sweat a lot.
Typically wear 11.5 or 11.5 wide, Size 12 too tight. Way too bulky for how tight it is and how thin the insulation. Not going to bother with 13 was already too bulky @ 12. Removable felt liner is the only insulation and questionable warmth. Made of polypropylene and a bit of wool supposedly.
Very well made and heavily insulated, normal socks work best.
I was not expected to wear a huge boots. It is not halloween time.
