Beautiful well made. But go a size smaller..
I got wound on the side (shoulder) of my instep by wearing these for a while in the house (both carpeted and hard wood). Leather hardness seems the same throughout the shoes and any other part of my foot didn't hurt, only the side of my instep. Since they were comfortable except at the side, I really wanted to wear the shoes so I took it to the shoe repair shop for their opinion. I was told that the only thing he could try was to stretch the leather at the side, but since there is a stich at the area and he thinks that is probably the cause of the leather rubbing and irritating my instep, stretching probably wouldn't help. I decided not to try to alter the shoes and just return them. Very disappointed because otherwise the shoes were stylish, perfect chunky-heel height and I really liked to be able to wear them.
