05182016 - Personally I don't think these are shoes you should wear every day, I think they are more of an special occasion kind of shoe. The mouth of the shoe could be a little bigger, once they are on they fit great but to get your foot in, its a workout even with a shoe horn.09292017 - Great shoes worn twice a week and still looking great. The trick with dress shoes is to let them dry for a day, don't wear them every day.
The quality of the shoes is good but they look big and feel big on me. I ordered a 10M. I'm not sure if there's a 10 "regular" but I would think those would fit better. This is why I typically reserve buying shoes in stores or at least try them first and buy them online after, which I didn't do in this case...
Great shoe. Very classy look. Fit great. Slip ons are less comfortable than an oxford but I'm okay even after 12 hours.Sounds like a boot when I walk.
I haven't had any luck with Stacy Adam shoes; however these seem to be holding well so far. I am a little concerned about the straps as they seem kinda fragile, so I guess I'll see how they hold up in a few months from now.Update: 2/4/17 - The sole started detaching a few months after my initial review and unfortunately I had to throw them away. Too bad because they were such nice shoes.
Nice looking shoes, a bit hard to shine and the I'm afraid I may break the buckles each time I undo them to put the shoe on.
It was an excellent fit. I had purchased some from the shoe Mall that we're not at all what I expected. Its been a month and I have not received my refund from the return, so getting these and them being everything i expected. I LOVE AMAZON!!!
I've had these shoes for exactly a week at this point. These shoes are $60 bucks so why is the quality so cheap. The first day I wore these (which by the way they look fantastic out of the box) both pairs got gigantic scuffs on the front of them that I couldn't get off no matter what I did, I tried spit shining them, some water buffing, a legit full blown polish (with dry black kiwi shoe polish, buffing with a camel hair brush, and finally a shine rag, nothing worked. I just polished them again with a brand new tin of kiwi brand polish, a brand new buff brush, and a brand new shine rag...didn't get the scuffs off which had grown larger at this point. I finally decided to use some kiwi brand liquid shoe polish, that finally got the scuffs off but then I started examining the shoes. Keep in mind I've owned these for a week and ALREADY the leather has been gauged and is starting to peel. Save yourself a $60 purchase and take a pass on these shoes, and probably Stacey Adams shoes in general if the quality of their shoes is at all represented by these.
