The L'Artiste shoes have become my favorite brand over the last few years. I have two pairs of clogs, this one and another style. Both are comfortable to wear all day. I don't need to purchase special insoles for these like I do other shoes because my arches "are falling" as I age. These shoes are also so beautiful that I receive many compliments and want to collect all the colors & styles! They seem to be well made. The first pair I purchased have lasted a year without hardly any wear-and I wear them approximately twice a week during the winter months. I purchased the second pair just a month ago. The fit was a little small for me. I usually wear a size 7. Size 37 was a bit small, 38 was fine; but, I purchase a size 39 in the clogs so I can wear Smartwool or Darn Tough wool socks in them.
Nice clog-like shoes. Comfortable for an 8-hour day on your feet in the library. Love the red and the pattern. Not as supportive as Dansko or Sanita clogs and will break down quicker. Considering this, price is a bit high. However, I wanted something different. They do run small had to size up from my regular 42 to a 43 (EU sizing).
From the first time I put these on, they felt like slippers. There is a good amount of cushion as well as support. I get so many compliments on them and I feel the red goes well with a lot of outfits, especially jeans. I really like how unique these are and the designs on the shoe. These are easily slipped into and out of. I liked them so much, I purchased a 2nd pair.
The sizing is odd on these shoes (6.5-7 or 7.5-8). Basically, they don't have half sizes. I normally wear a 6.5 Wide, so I ordered the 6.5-7. It was too small. Then I ordered the 7.5-8. It fit great. The style is very cute. However, the Camel multi is a very orange brown color. Too orange for my tastes. The inside of the shoe was cushioned, but the shoe does not bend when you walk. It's been a long time since I wore shoes with stiff soles. Between the color and the stiff sole, I decided to return the shoes.
There is so many things to say about this shoe. The look is super cute and you can tell it is made very well. Has a nice thick comfy insole and also a nice stretch on the top outside. Love the way they look and so far they are very comfortable to wear. Thanks L’Artiste by Spring Step for making a great shoe.
These shoes look great but the color is not as expected. The grey option is more of a dark taupe with a brown bottom. I still like them, but if you are looking for grey shoes, these are not what you want. My feet are hard to fit - sometimes I wear a size 9 sometimes 9.5, sometimes regular width and sometimes wide. I ordered the 9.5-10 and seem to fit fine. I'm not sure yet if they are going to be comfortable for all day wear, but the size works well and I love the look of them.
So ugly their cute. Comfy.. after they break in a bit It took 2 shifts (about 6 hours each) to break them in. I had to order the next size up.. I wear a 7.5 typically.. the option was 7.5-8, I thought this would work, but they were just a hair too short.. and for 12 hours comfortable is the name of the game. I will buy another color on a couple weeks for variety. Total thumbs up!
I have a pair of L'Artiste sandals that are super comfortable and I was looking for a pair of shoes suitable for spring and fall weather in Colorado. These shoes are awesome! I bought the red and they are beautiful. They look great with jeans. Highly recommend.
