When it comes to boat shoes, the Sperry Women's Authentic Original Boat Shoe stands out with its iconic design and functional features. The premium hand-sewn leather construction not only offers a sophisticated look but also ensures lasting durability. You’ll appreciate the 360-degree lacing system, which allows you to adjust the fit according to your comfort, making these shoes versatile for any foot shape.
A standout feature is the Razor-cut Wave-Siping technology that disperses water effectively, providing exceptional traction whether you’re on a boat or walking along a wet dock. The non-marking rubber outsole further ensures that you won’t leave scuff marks on your surfaces, making these shoes perfect for indoor and outdoor use.
However, a few potential drawbacks may need consideration. Some users have reported that they require a short break-in period to reach optimal comfort levels. Additionally, if you're planning on wearing them for extended periods, you might notice limited arch support, which may not be ideal for those requiring extra cushion.
Overall, the Sperry Women's Authentic Original Boat Shoe combines style and performance, making it an excellent investment for anyone looking to add a versatile shoe to their wardrobe.

I haven't worn Topsiders since high school in the 80s and decided I wanted a pair to go with my new, classic/preppy style. I'm so glad I went with the OG of boat shoes! The leather is supple, the rawhide laces can be adjusted, and the new-style foot beds are awesome! The sizing is spot-on. I'd recommend these classy and classic shoes 100%. And they were less than half the standard price. Get them!!
Love, love, love Sperry's boat shoes because they're so comfortable. Let me start off by saying I consider myself to have wide and thick feet. This poses a big problem when it comes to narrow shoes but I saw the Petrol blue color and simply couldn't pass it up.Out of the box the color is absolutely beautiful. If you love blue, trust me you'll love this shade. The shoe sports a gum sole, which is non-marking and also has tied suede laces that are not pictured. I had a little difficulty initially walking when I first got these shoes. They were a bit tight in the front, and the back of the shoe dug into my heel. I know since I have wide feet it does take time for me to break into narrower shoes to get them comfortable, so I opted to wear these shoes with a pair of ankle socks (thin ones, not the thicker athletic variety) a few times. It REALLY helped stretch the shoes out. After wearing socks with these shoes 3-4 times they were good to go without socks and my feet fit comfortably inside.Over a few weeks of wearing them they have begun to crease a little in the front. Doesn't bother me, just means they're getting broken into. I have a few other pairs of Sperry boat shoes and this one has a soft, suede insole compared to others that have the leather insole. I kind of prefer the suede insole because it's much softer and the suede doesn't "rub" off over time. The petrol color is also really spot on to the Amazon photo. These pair of boat shoes are my go to shoes in the spring and summer and they look amazing dressed up or down. Don't hesitate to get a pair, you'll love them!
The shoes are true to size. The leather is a bit stiff and will take a little time to break in. Definitely worth the cost
Shoe fits too tight in the toe area and loose in the back. Width of the shoe is weird but length is fine. I have several Sperry shoes and they fit me good and comfortable. Overall, shoe is decent for its price.
I love the fit (I wear narrow) it’s not available most of the time. This is my fourth pair.
My fave pair of shoes. Truly classic, comfortable, and timeless.
The sole of the right shoe was torn when they arrived. I knew they were "used" when I bought them, but I expected them to be intact! I've never seen a shoe tear in this way before.
Was to tight .
