Non slip soles a real plus. Great quality.
I have worn Sperry Top Siders for years and they always are excellent. These are no exception. I got them as a better looking alternative for Crocks. They are fairly comfortable and waterproof. I wear them for gardening as I can just hose them off if they get muddy. If you are married, you might need to buy another pair as your spouse may try to steal them. They do run a little large. If you are between sizes, I would go with the smaller size.
These are very light, inexpensive, and, for what is described as a "foam", pretty sturdy. Bought them instead of those crocodile shoes, and so far have only worn them around the house. I don't like my feet to be bare or "unprotected" by SOME covering, even when at home, and I find clog style, heel-less footwear uncomfortable, like they'll too easily come off my feet. I bought these intending to wear them only inside the house. (I have other shoes for beachwear, and other slip-ons for going out). These feel pretty firm on the soles of my feet, e.g. functional but, thus far, not quite what I'd call truly comfortable, like some other lightweight, fabric-top shoes I wear.My biggest complaint is that they only come in full sizes. I normally wear a mens 9 1/2, and ordered a size 9. My feet fit "okay", even with socks on, but feel a size 10 would have been too big.Despite my criticism, I might consider buying these again. I'll have to see how long they last.
Solid white. The color looks so clean. They fit great. Water drains right out. Good grip on the bottom. All that and a shoe that has fashion sense. They're perfect.
Something different but comfy ty
I purchased these for my husband, he was skeptical that he would like them, they arrived as described and he loved them. Said the fit was perfect and has somewhat of a cushion feel. They look very stylish too! Very pleased with this purchase. I fully expect to be asked where we got them! He wears a size 9 and we ordered a 9 and fit perfect.
I've been wearing Sperry since the 1980s. My size in everything from sneakers to boat shoes to lug sole oxfords has been size 11D. Including, 4 pairs of different styles of Sperrys purchased in the last 2 years. In fact, Sperrys, out of any other shoe brand, fits me perfectly every time and is my FAVORITE brand. After reading the reviews, the recommendation was to size down, so I ordered these in both 11D and 10D because of the markdown I didn't want to miss out on. The 11Ds were so big that I couldn't walk in them without stepping out of the shoe. They were wide from the toes to the heel, but the length was typical Sperry. So I tried the 10Ds; these were also pretty wide from mid-foot to the heel while my toe pushed against the front of the shoe. This is too bad because I really like the concept and was going to add some colored laces for contrast (I purchased the white). Unfortunately, I had to return both pairs. Even if they had a 10.5D, it would still be too wide. I can't complain too much because my other 20 pairs of Sperry are (were) awesome!
Despite the wrong color being sent, I gave it to my nephew because I did not have time to return it and wait for the correct color. My nephew ended up loving it! It’s a great shoe!
