When it comes to slide sandals, the Spenco Women's Kholo Onyx Pattern Slide Sandal stands out for several reasons. First, let's talk about comfort. The Total Support Footbed is designed specifically to help prevent issues like overpronation and alleviate symptoms associated with plantar fasciitis. This means if you spend long hours on your feet or have had previous foot problems, these sandals can make a significant difference.
The overall design of the Kholo is another plus point. The PU nubuck upper not only looks good but also provides breathability, which is especially important during hot summer days. The soft synthetic lining adds just the right amount of cushioning, making each step feel light and comfortable.
However, it's worth noting a couple of downsides. While the Kholo sandals are stylish, the color options might be limited for those looking for something unique. Additionally, some users have reported that the sizing can run large, so it’s advisable to try them on or check size guides before purchasing.
In terms of versatility, these sandals transition well from indoor to outdoor settings, whether you’re heading to the beach or simply relaxing at home.

No complaints here. My foot doesn't hurt (ache). Podiatrist recommended.. Yes you can wear socks. Will be ordering them in a different color.
I’ve purchased several pairs of these through the years .It is an awesome support slide. I have plantar fasciitis and these slides keep my arches supported and keep the balls of my feet cushioned . I have a pair for solely inside use and a couple for outside. They hold up for a long time. I replace my indoor ones about once a year. They are the only shoes I wear inside. I have a pair of burlap looking ones that are still going strong after two years of street wear. If they get wet, they dry right away. I’ve purchased several pairs for friends and relatives. They also love them.
Woke up one day with a darn BALL in my foot. When to the foot doctor who told me I had Plantar Fasciitis, took X-rays and suggested I get shoe insoles and some orthos. Feeling bummed out I checked Amazon and found these sandals. I figured I would use the insoles for my sneaks outside and some sandals for inside the house. These sandals fit and felt like a dream. Within a month that stupid ball in my foot had disappeared. These are my permanent AT-HOME foot wear. I run thru them quickly because there are literally all I wear since I work from home. I wear them to the store as well now. On my second pair and loving it. they do stretch a little so may size down a 1/2.
I’ve bought two pairs of these now in the slide sandal and I love them. My older pair is still comfortable and holding up well after 2 years of daily wear for plantar fasciitis. But I decided I want another pair to take with me when I visit someone’s house and I need to wear my “house shoes” so I don’t end up with bad foot pain. So they travel with me and if I forget them somewhere (which I have done before), I still have my other pair at home.I compared both pairs, new and old, and I have to say I like the one I got 2 years ago much better. The newer style is more snug around the foot and the shoe itself is also smaller. I like my toes having plenty of room and the newer style fits tighter around my toes. I tried the wide even though I don’t have wide feet thinking maybe I just need the wide now. But it was too wide. So I’m sticking with the regular width even though it isn’t as comfortable as the ones I already have. I’ve included a picture comparing my old pair to my new pair. The size difference in the style is easily noticeable even though they are both the same size of sandal. I gave this a 4 star review rather than a 5 simply because of the smaller fit of the current style. In the colder months, I wear these with socks. I don’t have any issues with my sock feet sliding around inside the shoe. Which is great because I’ve had it with other “house shoes” that I wear and is why I love these above all others. I have concerns that my new pair won’t be as comfortable with socks because of the smaller width. The arch support is perfect for what I need. Not too much, not too little. I haven’t had any issues with the arch support wearing down over time which is surprising given how much I wear them. Overall, these are the best house shoes I’ve found for arch support and are comfy enough to wear all day around the house.I wash them down regularly even though I only wear them indoors and we don’t wear outside shoes in the house. I hand wash them with a little soap and hot water. They wash up really good and I’ve never had an issue with foot odor between washes. Which is surprising because again, I wear them all day, every day and foot sweat happens for me no matter how comfortable the temp is indoors.Side note: I have the flip flop version of these that I wear all summer long for outside. They are also 2 years old and holding up well. The slide sandals aren’t something I would want to wear out of the house because I don’t like the look of them. So that is where the flip flop version of these comes in. The flip flops give me plenty of support without looking like an old person style of orthotic sandals.
Love my slides w the arch support being on the fluffier side it’s hard to get a good sandle to hold up to the daily wear I’ve had these 3 years just gonna buy a new pair cause I’ve worn these out finally but I wear them all year round living in Texas they are the best also easy to clean and never have had my feet hurt from wearing them so supprtive
I had bought a pair several years ago through my podiatrist. That pair finally wore out. So I was happy to find another pair. They only come in full sizes, not half sizes. But I really love them.
They are the best!
I purchased these in 2 different colors since they were on sale and the reviews were good. When I tried on the black pair I found them to be very hard, stiff and had a small pokey thing sticking up in the sole of the footbed that caused pain when trying to walk. I figured it was a possible defect in this particular shoe until I tried on the pink multi color sandals, it had the same problem, in the same area (in the padded ball of the foot area). So this issue is something
