When it comes to selecting the right footwear, the Spenco Men's Siesta Canvas Mule stands out due to its thoughtful design and emphasis on comfort. The breathable canvas upper allows for excellent ventilation, making them ideal for warm weather or indoor use. Unlike many traditional slippers or casual shoes, the footbed offers exceptional support that's particularly beneficial for individuals who suffer from foot fatigue or discomfort.
The twin gore panels are a notable feature, allowing the shoe to stretch and conform to the unique shape of your foot, which enhances overall comfort. Users have reported that while the initial fit may feel snug, they quickly adjust and become exceptionally comfortable after regular wear.
In terms of usability, the rubber outsole provides good traction on various surfaces, making them a practical choice for both indoor and outdoor activities. Furthermore, their machine-washable nature adds convenience, ensuring easy maintenance without sacrificing hygiene.
However, it’s important to note that while the Siesta Canvas Mule excels in comfort and functionality, some users have expressed a desire for more color variety. Additionally, individuals with wider feet may find the fit tight at first, although most agree that it becomes more accommodating over time.

Love, love, love. So, I'm a woman with very flat, wide'ish feet (sometimes i can wear regular, sometimes need wide). I recently got custom orthotic inserts, which are fine for my sneakers, but I needed a casual kick-off shoe with similar support. I couldn't be more pleased. These look great with jeans, love the cork sole, and they're roomy enough that I can wear them with socks if I want to, but ok if I go barefoot too. I took them out of the box, put them on, and wore them all day with no discomfort at all. I'll be buying more of these in the future. Love the "worn canvas" appearance too, kinda funky, will go great with all my linen clothes too.
Very comfortable and nice fit
This is my third set of Spencos. I am female with wide feet and some foot pain, these shoes are great!
I keep buying these sandals for comfort and arch support - bought 4 pairs at least. Sole detaches each time while rest of sandal and insole is still very wearable. Tried unsuccessfully to glue it back on ....
I originally purchased a size 9, which I had to return for an 8. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in a shoe. These are great slip-ons, and very confortable once you get used to them. The support "bump" doesn't feel right at first... but then your foot adjusts and they're really great. Would buy this branf again.
Great price for this style.
I'd say I have a flatter arch than most so I might have misunderstood when it said that it provided arch support. My guess is that if you have a high arch this is the right shoe for you! It will indeed provide good support with the soles in. Unfortunately for me, with a flatter arch, it ended up hurting my foot since it felt squished inside. If you want this extremely comfortable shoe and don't have a high arch, I'd still recommend it since you can just remove the sole, which is how I currently wear them and its very comfortable. I tried inserting Dr Scholes soles (don't remember the spelling) but ended up liking it better without the sole.
