Have only tried these on, and haven't really given them a trial run, as another pair went on my trip with me. But the fact that I kept them means they were a good fit on my narrow foot, and I'm saving to wear when my other black flats wear out.
Very Comfortable but runs wide. Will order narrow next time
These are a completely serviceable ballet shoe with a little support and some nice details like the tab on the back to protect your heel. So the shoe gets 4 stars because it seems worth the $20-$25 I spent. But the color...that's the bummer. Looking at the photo on amazon - the shoe absolutely looks yellow. Without question. The color is described as "Luggage" but each photo really looks yellow. So - that was cool! They arrived and they were definitely a "ho-hum" brown. Nice enough construction and comfortable - but I get a sneaking suspicion that they aren't quite the quality expected of a shoe that can cost up to $98 (according to Amazon). I went hunting - and the same shoe is sold at Walmart - with a far more accurate photo when it comes to color - def a nutty brown there. (They are selling it for like $67 - which seems absurd and...questions answered re: quality.)
Although I had to return these shoes because they were too small - I absolutely love theses shoes. They are beautifully made and quite elegant looking for flats. The grey is a dark, charcoal color that would go with just about anything. I will reorder a larger pair!
I really hoped these would be the right fit, but they are very uncomfortable. I find it hard to believe they’re a wide 10. They’re more like a wide 9.5.
These shoes are terrific! I have RA, and it is difficult to find shoes that don't pinch, are comfortable and support my arch, and are pretty. I wore these to a black tie wedding and loved them. I will order them in other colors. These are really great shoes.
Out of the box it becomes clear the snake print is identical on both shoes, looks weird. The footbed is a usual 12N, normal in the way there is not enough width to splay the big toe. But the forefoot depth and heel cup height seem made for swollen sausage feet. The shoes don't even touch the sides or top of my feet around the mid and forefoot, and the heel sides dig in high up on the heel.
Usually a 10 so I ordered that and most flats are too narrow for me so I got the c/d width, but they are both slightly big and slightly too wide. They are very comfortable with decent arch support and look great.
