The heel too high and too narrow to use for power walking.
My mother, 94 years old, only wears these shoes. We had a hard time finding them locally. They are perfect for her. Fit well and she feels confident walking in them.
I purchased this shoe for my mother. She bought this same style at least eight years ago, maybe ten. She has been very satisfied with the fit and comforts. I ordered a 10.5 W, but received a 10 wide, which is too short in length. Our only disappointment is that the wrong size was shipped, hence the four stars. We would recommend this shoe to others.
could be a little thicker in the toe box
I use to wear a similar pair of Nurse Mates years ago as a waitress, the sole was a bit thicker all the way across..LOVED them!! Can't find them in black..sad..sad. So I saw these on Amazon and figured I could give them a try, Softspots was also a popular brand with the servers. Very disappointed, not even close to a WIDE and I could tell right out of the box. Thankfully the returns are always no hassle and I sent on their merry way. I am still in search of a nice, wide, thick sole pair of black shoes.
