I needed a simple, basic, slip-on pair of comfortable black shoes for kicking around during the summer. Something that could go with just about any outfit, even when dressing up a little. Something I didn't need to wear socks with that wouldn't make my feet too sweaty. A pair of flats that still had support, and would stay put on my foot while walking or sitting. Finding these was perfection, especially at the price I paid. The inside padded sole is so soft and comfortable. They are easy to put on, easy to walk in, and didn't rub even when brand new. If you like Toms, you will especially like these - very similar style and comfort, at a fraction of the price. I like them so much that I am buying extra pairs to save for when the first pair wears out. But I don't think that will happen anytime soon. Go with your gut when choosing size, rather than whatever size Amazon recommends - I normally wear either a 6 or 6.5, and Amazon wanted me to buy a 6.5, but I wanted these to fit close and not be loose so I chose a 6 and wasn't disappointed. I'm not saying they run big, but if you are between two sizes like me you probably want the smaller one, especially if you plan to wear them without socks.
These fit more like a 7. A 7.5 could prob fit as well. That’s how big these are. I’m a 6.5 with narrow feet. One of my feet learn more towards a 7, and these are still too big for me. I wish I had returned them, but I’m going to just try to wear them with large, fluffy socks. Otherwise, the quality is good, and they’re comfortable. I just wish they actually fit. Lol. Def size down.
Comfortable for casual walking not all day!
Prior to moving down to Florida, I purchased these and haven't looked back. They soooo comfortable that I wear them 95% time that I go out to run errands. I've worn out 2 pairs of them and love my 3rd pair just as much. The one minor negative...they're and get gray/black dirt spots on them. But, I can live with that. They run true to size...I'm a 6.5 so I got the 7 and added a cushion insole...not that the shoe needs it, they're like wearing pillows on your feet...soft and wonderful!
I wear a size 7 in womens, so that's what I ordered. Should have read more reviews and I would have seen that these run small. They fit more like a 6 1/2. My toes are completely to the end and I already know that because of the canvas material, it won't be long until there is a hole in the end from my toenails. Unfortunately, I need these for work and cannot return them. The shoe itself is really nice. Insole is very soft and, if not for the small fit, would otherwise be very comfortable. I put them next to an actual size 7 for comparison. It's a half-inch to inch shorter.
Bought a pair of these because I needed some black flats to go with pants. These fit the bill perfect. Very comfortable shoe, almost feels like a slipper. Not the sturdiest canvas sides but I don't intent to hike in these. Liked them so much, I bought a second pair. Not sure why different colors are much more expensive than the black though!
I like Toms for their comfort and simplicity, but I can't afford them.This is a good quality alternative to the more expensive item.I had a little loose thread on one shoe, but I snipped it, and it was fine.VERY comfortable.
