The Skechers mens Equalizer 3.0 Sumnin Loafer excels in several areas, making it a strong contender in the realm of casual footwear. First and foremost, comfort is where these shoes shine. The air-cooled memory foam insole adapts to your foot shape, providing a personalized cushion sensation with every step you take. Whether you’re running errands or enjoying a leisurely walk, this feature cannot be overstated.
Another highlight is the relaxed fit design, which ensures ample space for your toes without feeling constricted. This makes the loafers an excellent option for individuals with wider feet or those who prefer additional room.
From a style perspective, the sporty yet sleek look fits well within various casual outfits, allowing you to transition seamlessly from a morning coffee run to an afternoon stroll in the park. However, while the design is elegant, it does lack a bit of flair due to limited color options.
In terms of durability, the mix of synthetic materials and knit mesh holds up nicely against everyday wear. Plus, the nonmarking outsole adds versatility, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Despite their numerous advantages, it’s worth noting that users looking for significant arch support may find these loafers slightly lacking, which could be an important factor for those with specific foot conditions.

I have wide feet. And I mean wide. Sometimes I feel like the box the shoes come in would fit better. I recently lost my daily work shoes in a, shall we say, interesting circumstance on a Friday night. Alcohol was involved. I digress, my work shoes were beyond the point of needing replaced so along comes the universe to push my hand. My friend had suggested these Skechers before, after I had inquired on a pair he was wearing. Keep in mind, my go-to for shoes are typically New Balance as they are one of the only sports sneaker brand to offer 4E widths. So I looked these shoes up. 28 dollars? What could I lose. I ordered them a few days ago and thanks to the magic of Amazon I had them yesterday. My first impressions on fit: they were perfect. There's a bit of that new "feeling" where you are aware of the sides of the shoes, but not in any way I would consider uncomfortable or snug. Plenty of toe box room. Material feels great, the shoes look pretty nice too. Casual enough you could wear on a city walking tour, just dressy enough to be a (laid back) office shoe. What really surprised me the most though was the amount of cushion in the sole/heel of the shoe. It says it's memory foam, and boy does it feel like it. Now maybe the cushion will fall quickly and I'll be disappointed in a while. But as of today, these bad boys feel amazing and I love them. Just an aside: I was in before anyone else this morning so I usually don't have my feet up on my desk ;)
I tried other pull on sneaker types from Skechers and was very pleased, but then I found these which pleased me even more! Delightful and almost a joy to wear (I have a bone spur (I am 67 y.o.) on my heel and bad knees and hips and this particular pair alleviates the pain because they are so darn comfortable, robustly built, yet very light, thus VERY EASY and DELIGHTFUL to wear especially with a "vacation walking tour group"......proven in Rome's Forum and Coleseum as well as the very difficult basaltic streets of Pompei which literally "ate up" other fellow travelers' shoes, big time! This year I'm buying an extra pair for an extensive 16 day tour of the Greek Isles which I am told REQUIRE comfortable and supportive shoes regardless of your age! Well ladies and gents,....look no further! These are them. Whether globe trekking, or casual (and not so casual) wearing these puppies fit the bill. They are handsome enough, I guarantee you will NOT feel out of place, wherever you wear them.I got the dark navy blue which looks closer to black with a very dark grey sole and most people think they are a casual dress shoe, which, quite frankly I believe they are!UPDATE: 5/14/19......loved these SO much, I bought another (and equally comfortable) pair in all black. These are even better looking than the blue described in the initial review!I do hope this review was HELPFUL?
This has been a very comfortable shoe for my very wide foot. Maybe the most comfortable ever. I walk around a large store for at least 7 miles a day 4 days a week. They do not squeek on the hard floor and I just love them. I'm buying another pair. The reason for not having 5 stars is that they wore holes inside at about 1 month in. Doing this much walking may be more than most but I'd still expect to get a couple months out of them. Still well worth it for the money. I will still buy a new pair every month if I have too.
I have always heard and read about the reputation of Skechers shoes - that they are soooo comfortable! Relatives and friends swear by them and they replace their worn Skechers with another new pair of Skechers. So I thought maybe it's about time I tried them for myself and see what the hype is all about. And it's absolutely true ... they are comfortable. I have been a Nike and Adidas sneaker fan all my life. These 2 brands fit me pretty well but I can't say that they are comfortable to wear, especially for long walks. But not the Skechers, they are certainly very comfortable. I wore them for a pretty lengthy shopping trip and my feet felt fine after I came home. The memory foam insoles were soft and cushiony. The fit was perfect. The back and ankle does not rub. No breaking in required.I will buy Skechers from now on.
Great for running out for the mail...comfy and seem sturdy...i wouldnt wear them out shopping, but maybe that would work too...i treat them as outdoor slippers and they work stunningly well for that...i can slip them on without having to lift my leg and pull them up...size was same as my normal shoes
These shoes are pretty comfortable right out of the box and true to the width. They came a little big on the length though so I'll order a size or half size smaller next time.
Age and Diabetes has created edema in one of my legs (calf, ankle and foot) making it extremely difficult to find shoes that fit. With the extra wide, and buying a 1/2 size larger than I normally take (10 rather than 9 1/2) these shoes have provided me just what I needed. They are comfortable in-soles and stretch sufficiently for me to get them on. I suspect wearing them more will provide it easier to put on later. I didn't want to spend the money but, I tried other shoes (now have to return them) that were cheaper but, as they say, you get what you pay for. Now...all I need is a company to come up with a way to order one shoe size different than the other. Seriously though...the good side doesn't even know the difference. Thank you for finally providing me something I can wear.
