The Skechers Mark Nason Dagger Collection Men's Elmwood Chukka Boot stands out in terms of comfort and style. Firstly, the use of high-quality leather elevates its look, making it an excellent choice for both formal and informal settings. The memory foam footbed is particularly commendable; it provides cushioning that adapts to the contours of your feet, offering support during long hours of wear.
In terms of functionality, the lace-up design allows for a personalized fit, which is vital when it comes to footwear. However, one aspect you might want to consider is its lack of water resistance. If you're planning to wear these boots in rainy weather, you might want to rethink your choice or look for additional waterproofing options.
On the downside, the 5-inch shaft height could be considered a bit restrictive by some wearers who prefer taller boots for enhanced ankle support. Overall, if you're in the market for stylish chukka boots that offer comfort and versatility, the Skechers Elmwood Chukka Boot is certainly worth considering.

These boots are extremely comfortable after a bit of break-in, and they look great with jeans or dressed up a bit for work or going out. I wore the heels of my first pair down to the nubs, and while the insides have deteriorated from heel friction, they are still one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I've ever owned including others I paid 4x as much for.
I bought these for my partner before our trip to NYC in December. He found them a little tight until he broke them in, afterwards you couldn't get him to take them off. I do recommend you wear them around the house or small distances before walking several blocks in these shoes.
Heel fell off shortly after the window to return closed. Surprised, Mark Nason usually very good quality.
Ive worn these a handful of times, and they’re already coming apart. I like the brand, but these are very not living up to the standards I’m used to.
The boots actually looks much better than in the Amazon photo, to me.The fit is good, required some walking about the house to break them in a bit as the leather is thick, stiff and I have a somewhat wide foot with a hight instep. At work we're allowed to wear Jeans to the office on Friday's which is the reason why added this boot to accessorize my ample boot collection. The leather is very thick (not a thin veneer) and somewhat stiff (somewhat like a traditional new motorcycle boot). The finish is matte unto the toe where there is a modest shine, perfect pairing with my Levi 501's.The stitching and sole are solid, very well constructed, I hope that if/when this area begins to wear that I'm able to have the sole replaced.Lastly, the side zipper is attractive yet discreet at the same time...I'm considering purchasing another pair because they're a bargain at the current price unless one can obtain them for less.
Overall, nice boots. Run a little large, so I would recommend a half size smaller.
The heel came apart from the shoe the second time it was worn. Not a comfortable shoe anyway. Spend more money to get a better shoe.
Most shoe brands I wear a 12. I ordered a 12 and an 11 and the 11's fit best, though snug they're not uncomfortable. Wish they had an 11.5. Some reviews talk about differences in appearance, I would agree that it is a little darker in natural light. There were very slight, and few, marks and scratches but nothing I saw that isn't normal for any real leather boot/shoe. First thing I did was clean, condition, and polish them and they looked exactly as I expected them to. They are very comfortable as well which helps for the breaking in process. I haven't worn them enough to get there yet. The insoles are awesome! Will update my review after Fall and Winter on how well they held up and how they feel after being broken in.
