I have been contemplating buying this shoe for a while. Wasn't sure what size to get. I am a size 7 depending on the width of the shoe I usually will go up half a size. The size 7.5/38 was perfect. It's a little long or big around my ankles. I think I can adjust that. The toe box is a bit snug, but not buy much. If I plan to wear dress socks, it will be perfect. The heel was not as heavy and clunky as I thought it might be. It's the right amount of height and I love love the sparkle. I am due to go to a wedding and I can't wait to wear them out. I have both a flat foot and a narrow high arched foot. So far, my wide foot doesn't feel cramped in. Overall, so happy with my purchase.
These shoes are perfection! While I had some difficulty with Amazon’s sizing, I couldn’t dock the rating for these shoes. I normally wear a 7 or 37, so after reading the many reviews about sizing up I ordered a 7.5. It wasn’t until AFTER my order was placed that I realized Amazon has already skewed the sizing. While other stores selling SJP list size 7 corresponding to 37, 7.5 to 27.5, and 8 corresponding to 38, Amazon lists size 7 corresponding to a 37.5, 7.5 corresponding to a 38, and an 8 corresponding to a 38.5, so on and so forth. SO, with that in mind I unknowingly ordered a full size up, rather than the intended half size up. I have a narrow foot and was drowning in the 38. I ended up ordering the pair in a TRUE 7.5 (i.e. 37.5) from another retailer and they fit perfectly! Above it doesn’t currently list the euro size for smaller shoe sizes, so just be careful to double check and ensure you are getting the euro size you are looking for!
I dreamed of these shoes. I got them yesterday. I chose size 8, but I received 8 1/2. it's not so bad, because I’ll wear half soles. Thank you
Love these shoes i was a little concerned when i ordered two sizes. They fit me true to size 100% the size i needed had a little panel on the buckle different from the larger size. I reached out to SJP in NYC. They confirmed they are 100% authentic. Just a panel added to reinforce the buckle holes. Dont complain about the price. These are literally half the retail in NYC. Save up or these shoes arent for you. Id purchase again! Very happy! Great start to my fabulous 50s!
I absolutely lived this shoe however it runs a size small. I’d go up an entire size for accurate US fit.
First to the shoe quality and fit: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The quality is superb, perfectly in line with European Handmade shoes. A bargain with comparison with other brands that use the same artisans yet because of their name brand double and triple their MSRP. I have other SJP shoes and they always fit perfectly with great arch support and soft leather lining on the interior.Review of Amazon⭐️ one star is way to much! I ordered my size 38.5. Amazon took it upon themselves to translate that into a 39. I wanted to wear this for an event and due to their mistake, I couldn't and therefore had to return it. Get this: I requested return and….instead of having the courier pick up the return they now want to have their PRIME customers take the item back themselves-yet another inconvenience created by their mistake. Not a happy camper. From now on, I will purchase directly from SJP website.
I need to send these shoes back and get a replacement. I wore them a couple of times and are completely destroyed
These are gorgeous but they are too tight and narrow. This shoe is always out of stock in larger sizes so when I saw them in my regular size I ordered immediately, hoping that I’d be the exception and that they would be true to size. But alas everyone is right: order 1/2 to 1 size larger. I’m taking these to the cobbler to see if they can be stretched.
