These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. They are incredibly comfortable and they look great too! I brought these on my trip and they were so light and great for packing. They’re very versatile too, I was able to wear them to the beach during the day, but they also look nice enough to wear at night. I wore these in the water and when they dried they didn’t smell at all. I highly recommend these!
This Showaflops Mens' Classic Loafer caught my eyes as I searched in Amazon, with the warmer weather just around the corner, I'm looking for something that, like most of my clothing wardrobe sets, Lightweight AND makes me look cool 😎😎😎😎Well, there's nothing cooler than a good pair of classic lightweight loafers from Showaflops. They are so light that they didn't come in a typical shoe box, instead, they came in a see-through plastic zipper-lock bag in a soft Amazon shipping bag - it was THAT light. I chose the olive green color, since it pairs well with my current fashion style, and easily color coordinate with my existing wardrobes. I'm 5'9" & 145lbs wearing size 9 shoes, so I also ordered a size 9. As the shoe shape design is tapered towards the front, it's quite narrow, but the stretchable Neoprene material easily wrapped & contoured to fit my feet for a good fit, but I didn't enjoy the fact that they make my ankle area looks swollen. So, I'm removing a star for this, but I'm all, it's Lightweight, Stylish & reasonably priced. Showaflops neoprene show is shockingly comfortable. Before this I've never worn a new shoe that was so comfortable that I forgot I was wearing a new shoe. Very nice walking around outside with it. Comfy enough that I can use it as slippers when it's not cold.Very light.The only problem *I* have with it is something that won't matter to most people. I have to wear supports for my flat feet and when those support are inserted in these shoes... they're thick enough so that my back foot keeps slipping out the back of the shoe. I don't have to use the supports ALL the time so these shoes are still wearable for me.
As one who's feet and ankles tend to swell a lot, shoes and socks can be problematic for me. Stiff shoes, or ones with rigid uppers, can leave the tops of my feet hurting if I wear them too long. Shoes like these, with an elastic fit, do me much better. These are easy to slip on and quite comfortable to wear all day long.On first use, the soles do seem thicker than other shoes I've tried. At the same time I can feel the ridge line on the bottom of the shoes right through those thick soles. It's not painful, not even uncomfortable, just very noticeable. These days I don't spend a lot of time on my feet so it's not a big issue and I expect that I'll get used to the feeling of the soles as I wear these shoes for a while.Oh, and for those who still notice such things, the shoes do have the stylish look of classic loafers. These are not the best shoes I've ever worn but they are pretty nice so I give them 4 stars.
The shoes by themselves are well made, lightweight and look really nice. The problem is they are too small. Size 13-14 does not fit on size 14 wide foot. They are 2 sizes smaller. So we are unable to wear them. Otherwise the shoes would have been okay.
I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. The color is great as advertised. The fit is of great comfort. They are super light weight. The sole is foamy and again comfortable. I think these will be great shoes for car riding or driving and wearing on an airplane for comfort stretch and light weight. Best shoes ever for these qualities
