Because I have a higher top of the foot than normal and the photo didn't look like there was much give, I ordered a half size larger. I'm very happy with the fit. I wore them for the first time to an event where I was standing/walking for hours. However, I know I need to see how this holds out for the long haul and will need to update later.
Love them very comfortable to stand with them for 8 hours a day.
The shoes look very nice, and the material good, however too wide, right shoe wider than the left one. At the end of the day I was very tired trying to control my foot inside the right shoe. I read the comments about this problem, but still they looked so nice and comfortable that I wanted to try it. The worst is I that I throw away the box and wear the shoes, otherwise, I would return them

The shoe is beautiful and appear quality made. Its heavy but I love the height. I am returning it for the following reasons. I wear a 7.5 shoe with a high in-step making finding a good work shoe tedious. After reading the reviews, I ordered a my size. I could not get my foot into it without a thin hose sock. Even then it was extremely tight and stiff and unmovable with tight instep and a ridge tip on the tongue of the shoe. I work on my feet 8-10 hours and need comfort and support. The shoe is the most unconfinable of all five shoes I tried on. If I could rate it on looks and height, a ten. For comfort wear and fit. a negative 5.
I waited a couple of weeks before writing the review. Shoes are sturdy and fit well, they are not uncomfortable.My one negative comment is that they are like walking around on a block of wood they don't bend or give at all and they are noisy like tap shoes. I put gel insoles inside to try to make them more comfortable and that kind of helped with comfort. I don't think I would order them again.
