The first thing you'll notice about the Sanuk Rounder Brown is its striking design. The slub canvas textile not only stands out visually but also delivers on comfort, thanks to its lightweight nature. Designed as a slip-on skimmer, it allows for easy wearing, making it a practical choice for those on the go.
Comfort is a top priority with this model. The high-rebound ethylene vinyl acetate footbed provides excellent cushioning, ensuring that even long periods of wear won't leave you feeling fatigued. However, individuals who require more pronounced arch support may find this shoe lacking in that particular aspect.
The odor-absorbing insole is another welcome feature, especially during warmer days when foot sweat can be a concern. This ensures that your shoes remain fresh, which adds to the overall comfort factor.
Cleaning your Sanuk Rounders is hassle-free; simply toss them in the washing machine on a cold cycle using color-safe detergent and let them air dry. This maintenance routine keeps your footwear looking sharp without requiring extensive effort.
However, it's worth noting that while they excel in comfort and usability, the Sanuk Rounder might not be ideal for rainy weather due to their fabric composition. If you're caught in a downpour, moisture could compromise the integrity of the shoe.
Overall, if you're seeking a versatile option for casual outings that doesn't sacrifice comfort for style, the Sanuk Rounder Brown 13 D (M) is a solid choice. Just be mindful of the sizing and remember that for specific orthopedic needs, you might want to explore additional options.

Update : Coming up on 2 years, they're still hanging in there! These things have been the most comfortable shoe! They have some fabric wearing on the toes but they have not worn through yet. I bought 2 more pair as backups. Going to run these for as long as they will hold up though!I got these shoes over a year ago as a Christmas present. For such a light simple shoe, I was not expecting much as far as holding up and being well made. Contrary to first impressions I have been very impressed on how well they have held up. Ive had zero issues with ripping, seams popping, ect. Actually these things are bomb proof. I think I will wear the sole out before the material fails. Once beat in they wont win any fashion competitions but if you are looking for comfort you have found it! With that being said, support is minimal and these are not ideal for hiking. They do well for around town/home/office though.
If you're a half size (7.5, 8.5, 9.5, etc.), size up 1/2 size or if you have wide feet 1 full size. If you have a full size (7, 8, 9, etc.), size up one full size. I bought these mainly as a pair of slippers for around the house, but I end up wearing them out all the time. I am a US 9.5 (brannock) and I went with size 10, they fit perfectly. I can't wear shoes without socks because my feet sweat so I wear these with socks (injinji btw, they're awesome) and the fit is slightly snug, but not tight. I imagine they will stretch a little over time. The rubber sole is soft and very comfortable. I do get some condensation if I have them on for more than a couple of hours, but the nice thing about these is I can wipe them clean with a damp cloth or a Lysol wipe. You can't do that if there's cloth covering the footbed, the sweat will just get absorbed and stay there. The upper is breathable so that keeps it from getting hot. The overall construction seems good with no visible defects. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend them.
Sanuks are some of the most comfortable casual footwear out there. I am buying my second pair because I wore a hole in the sole of my last pair over the years. If you have never purchased Sanuks, then you might want to know a few things. There is no support for your arch - the bottom is completely flat, not unlike a flip flop. If you need arch support, you may not want these. Also, they are great for daily wear in casual situations, but if you plan to be in a rocky or thorny environment, you might want something a little more solid on the base. I personally experienced a thorn through the sole of my shoe while walking through some trees on a beach. To be fair, it WAS a large thorn, but the Sanuk isn't really a go to for hiking adventures. You will also likely need a size larger than what you typically wear (especially if you have larger or wider feet). These are not drawbacks in any way, just a heads up if this is your first pair. They are great, comfortable shoes that have a unique look that always draws a compliment or comment. If you already own a pair, then you are making a great choice by adding this one as well.
These run small for me. I'm normally an 11 but a 13 fits me.
Love Sanuks! This is the 3rd pair I've owned in the past 3 years. The 1st two I ordered ("Hemp" and "Vagabond") in my size and they fit perfectly. This "Rounder" in my size was too small, so I reordered 1 size up and they fit beautifully.
I have had these in the past and enjoy wearing them. Like not having anything on.
I really, really wanted to like these shoes, but I have quickly become unimpressed with them. Just some bullet points to clarify things.1. Looks: 7/10. These shoe look great. I'd give them a 9 except that, the ONLY comments I received on these shoes were by people who thought they were the $15 knockoffs from Walmart. If it weren't for the green SANUK tag, no one could tell them from the knockoffs.2. Fit: 5/10 The shoes have a very loose fit. This makes them comfortable but there is also a lot of movement when you walk in them.3. Comfort: 4/10 These shoes are awesome for about 100 feet of walking. They have no support of any kind. You might as well be walking barefooted. In essence, they work well as an indoor shoe with limited walking. Don't expect to stand all day in them. They are, in essence, a house slipper.4. Insoles: 4/10 What is up with these insoles? They are made of an odd sticky-rubbery substance with is not very absorbent. They aren't very absorbent which means they eventually begin to squeak when I walk...and I mean SQUEAK! Also, the insole slowly pills inside the shoe leaving little balls of rubber which I constantly have to dump out. (See the picture)5. Soles: 2/10 The soles of these shoes come from the factory with a light fabric finish (See the picture). This is very, very slippery. In fact, I had to sand the bottoms of my shoes before I could wear them on tile surfaces. They were so slippery, I did an experiment. I gave it a good run on the Home Depot polished-concrete floor and managed to slide about 20 feet. They have a lot more grip now that I have sanded the fabric off.6. Price: 3/10 Over-priced for what you get. Like I said, I was willing to give them a try even with the high price.Overall, a 3-star shoe. Not too bad, not too great. I expected a lot more for the price.
I normally wear 10.5. Tried the 10 first and returned for the 11. They were snug at first but after wearing them for a week in San Diego, they’re perfectly broken in and a little stretched now. Amazingly they don’t make my feet hot. They don’t stink after a full week of wearing them in the summer heat in San Diego. I didn’t think they were particularly airy but my feet never felt overly hot and sweaty. I normally wear athletic shoes but never flip flops and I needed a good casual shoe like this. I ordered a pair in black and can’t wait to wear these as much as possible. Order a size up.
