I first started wearing the chiba sidewalk surfer shoes many years ago and most recently switched to this version because I really like how the color blends with my clothes. The #1 thing I love about Sanuk shoes is the sole. It molds to my feet over time giving me comfort and support for hours. Unlike most shoes that try to change your feet to fit them. The only downfall is that the soles only last 3-6 months for me. I am a bigger man and stand on my feet all day so that may be part of the issue. Still the comfort outweighs the longevity for me. I will continue to buy them for as long as they make them.

My husband loves Sanuks! 2nd pair. 1st pair lasted 2 years (summer use only, and he is hard on shoes). True to size. He wears a 10, always buy a 10! Great summer shoes without socks!
Took a brand new set on a bush walk through Africa. My guide gave me a few glances in the morning but I nodded and we went out on what would be 15 miles. Wet? Yeah my feet got soaked but the light material dried fast. Thin sole? Feet definitely got a workout. All in all they were light and held up. I’d like a better heal cup when in sport mode but I liked it. Nothing kicked into the shoes, sand, rock, sticks, seeds, nada. Only downside is the fabric started to tear where it meets the sole
Better than other brands
So I was looking for a comfortable pair of summer beach shoes but didn’t want to buy hey dudes like every other person on the planet. These are so comfortable I have been wearing them year around. Very light weight and super comfortable.
