If you're looking for a jazz shoe that offers both functionality and style, the Sansha Tivoli Lace-Up Leather Jazz Shoe might just be what you need. The first thing you'll notice is the high-quality craftsmanship, combining leather and satin for a sleek look that works equally well in the studio or on stage.
When it comes to performance, the slip-on design paired with side ankle elastic panels ensures that you have a secure fit during even the most rigorous routines. The split-sole construction allows for impressive flexibility, vital for executing intricate dance moves.
However, it's worth mentioning that the Tivoli's narrower fit may not suit everyone. Dancers with wider feet might find it a bit constricting, and it’s advisable to try them on before purchasing if you're uncertain about your size.
Maintenance is straightforward; simply toss them in the washing machine as needed. Overall, the Sansha Tivoli shoes stand out as a top choice for serious dancers seeking quality and performance.

I perform at Renaissance Festivals and so spend all day walking on dust, dirt, rocks and hay. I bought these because I knew that they wouldn't give me blisters and were made of Renfest approved materials. I was worried that the sole would immediately give out. But in fact it lasted the entire season. Only a little bit of the toe pad started to peel because the thread stitching it one wore through. These are very comfortable for me to wear all day. I sprayed them with water proofer and it didn't stain the fabric. I am 5'3" and typically wear a 7 or 7.5. I bought a size 10 of these and they fit perfect.
So it runs very small! I’m not sure if that’s a jazz shoe thing - I bought these to look like soft canvas shoes for a Renaissance peasant costume and they fit that purpose perfectly.I had to size up two street shoe sizes - I am a size 10 almost always; sometimes a 10.5/11 can fit but most of the time those slip off. These are size 12 in women’s sizing and fit very comfortably and are actually snug. Not too much at all- they’re basically contoured to my foot. Again maybe that’s a jazz shoe thing I’m not familiar with.Soft and comfy. Just make sure you size it up.
I never wear a 12 in ANYTHING, but I had to get one in this boot. Most of my street shoes are a 9-1/2 or 10 in women's. I knew from other reviews that this boot ran small, but I had no idea. Initially, I ordered an 11, but they crowded my toes, so I had to send them back and get the size 12. They are very comfortable boots. The fabric is tougher than it looks. I dance a lot, but I purchased them as a nankeen-look boot for my Regency-era clothing. With different strings, they worked wonders. Since they have a split sole, I would not recommend wearing them outside if it is damp, rainy or muddy. The pads on the toe and heel wore well in the areas where I was walking, which was mostly in short grass and on paved sidewalks. I did put a removable insole in the shoe before I wore them, to provide extra cushioning. If I was going to regularly wear these in areas of dirt and/or grass, I would definitely take them to a cobbler to have a leather sole professionally stitched on, but for sidewalks and limited walking, the regular sole did fine. In packing, they squish down to almost nothing, and you can stash them in your purse or bag. As a side note, I did end up dancing in these boots, and they worked great. Nice flex and point.
It doesn’t feet like it says i am a size 7 i ordered size 6 by mistake i guess and if was super small then i order two size more and it was the same feat but the quality is very good
These shoes look great, they're comfy. All I have to do is cut off the branding tags and they'll be perfect for my days at the Faire. They are so comfortable, I've been wearing them around the house all day! I'm so glad I looked into alternative shoes... authentic costume boots from a specialty shop would have been extremely costly. The soles seem sturdy. There isn't any reinforced protection for the uppers or sides of the feet. The material is simple, plain cotton cloth with no stretch (again, perfect for my needs). Should work fine for wide feet, they can be laced tight or loose as desired. I would recommend waterproofing prior to wearing outdoors in wet conditions. You do have to be careful with the size. I'm normally women's 8-8.5, so I was going to buy a 9. Out of an abundance of caution, I went with a 10 thinking I could always stuff the toes if they were a little too long. These fit perfectly!
I bought two pairs of these for my kids in an upcoming production that is set in the early 1900's. They are perfect for the time period and feel comfortable also! I ordered several sizes up based on reviews. My daughter normally wears an 8 1/2 - 9 and I ordered her an 11, fit perfect, couldn't be smaller. I ordered my son with a big wide foot who usually wears about a 12 a men's 14 and they are just a little long, but fit pretty much perfect. He didn't want them in a smaller size. They have a great split sole and provide a good slide! Just order 2-3 sizes bigger than what you wear and you'll be happy you did.
Not Sansha. plastic sole. Not suede. Very cheap version of shoe displayed.
My son is in theatre at his school and needed a good pair of jazz shoes to use for his roles in Saturday Night Fever and Cats. He is not a dancer outside of what he has learned in theatre, so he didn't own any dance shoes. He chose these because they look "more like street shoes" than the others did. His teacher/director was very impressed with these shoes and told the other students about them. They fit exactly as described in the size chart and he reports they are very comfortable and easy to dance in. He is very pleased with them, so I am very pleased with this purchase. I would highly recommend them to others who may not need dance shoes on a daily basis but need a gooid, comfortable, reasonably priced pair.
