In terms of comfort, this loafer does not disappoint. The slip-on design allows for quick dressing, making it ideal for those hectic mornings. With a heel height of just half an inch, you receive a slight elevation while maintaining stability. Moreover, the quality craftsmanship ensures that you won’t face any discomfort even after wearing them for extended periods.
Maintenance is a breeze, too. Thanks to its fabric outer and machine washable feature, you can keep these shoes looking pristine without much effort. However, one consideration might be the fit; some customers with wider feet have noted that the loafers can feel a bit snug.

WOW! The fit is so great. These shoes are really worth it. They are very comfortable and look amazing. Perfect for work.
I've been wanting the Gucci loafers for a long time but couldn't pull the trigger in case they might feel uncomfortable. I have flat feet, occasional plantar fasciitis, a bunion, and the back my heel can easily get blisters - so if a pair of shoes betray me then I tend to not wear them and it becomes a waste of money. These shoes are extremely soft and stretch to accommodate my bunion. The shoes also have slight cushioning which is very unexpected for this style of shoe. They tend to be really hard and flat. These shoes are great for me to commute to work in, brunch, or stroll around the mall.Based on the other reviews, I ordered true to size which is an 8 and they fit perfectly. I expect them to stretch with time Usually with Italian style leather loafers, I've always had to order a size up.They are also very high quality, beautiful leather, and on par with other premium Italian loafers that I've purchased in the past but definitely more comfortable. Obviously they're not going to be as comfortable as a pair of hokas. But I've tried other comfort brand loafers and they always tore up the back of my heels.
I never had loafers. I always wanted to have a pair. This is my first pair of loafers. I love the classic design and comfort. They pair great with my black pants and blue jeans. I enjoy wearing them. Thank you Sam Edelman.
I have been through countless shoes that are either cute and horrifyingly uncomfortable or comfortable and kind of ugly. These are THE shoe if you’re looking for a classy look alongside comfort. I have searched high and low. I could see them not being the best if you’re looking for a cushioned shoe, but they form to your feet really nicely and almost make it feel like you’re not wearing anything. I am on my feet for 16 hour wedding days running around (usually I track around 12 miles on these days) and my feet hurt no matter what, but these worked and didn’t cause any blisters or bumps of any kind which is a win in my book. I think they are way classier looking than a lot of the chunky platform loafers you see out there currently. They are timeless and have turned my outfits from cute wedding girl to professional wedding woman REAL quick. 10/10 recommend it was so hard finding a pair of shoes that did the job right. Bless.P.S. I’ve worn these 3 times and honestly they are looking in really good shape for the beating they take on a gnarly wedding day. Probably put in 36 miles on these puppies by now 😂
I own 2 pair. They look fabulous but I will say they are quite narrow. They stretch minimally.
These show scream classy and fun. They have so many color choices and all are nice. The shoe was a bit big in the back. I wear a size 10. I have a narrow foot. That was the only drawback. I wanted to add these to my wardrobe but sadly I had to return them.
I love Sam Edelman. I’ve had really good experience with this brand of loafer. They’re comfy and dress any outfit up. That said, I have another pair (Beatrice Penny loafer) which are in my usual size 9, and they’re my favorite shoes ever, but this Loraine design ran a bit big for me. I ordered both 9 and 8.5 and settled on 8.5 I Highly recommend. They’re not as comfy as the Beatrice Penny, but I love how these are real leather and soft so I know they will conform to my foot. They’re already getting more comfy as I’ve been breaking them in. The soles slip a bit- I may need to order some of those sticky things.
The shoes are as nice as I expected, much softer than I imagined, but very wide🥲. They fit perfectly in length but they slip. I was looking forward to the shoes, now I'm disappointed. Sam Edelman doesn't fit my foot well. I wear a 8.5 shoe and in this brand the size 8 is small for me and the 8.5 is wide in the heel. Looks like I'll never be able to buy that brand of shoes! It is a pity!
