Foot support and foot stability is very good. If you have a tendency to roll your ankles out, the stiffer sole is beneficial. Very good grip as well. Great for Disc Golf, dirt and gravel trails, and even a great substitute for a golf shoe in dry conditions.
I really loved these shoes, but only had them for 2 months before they broke. I was tying them and they broke. Not much wear and tear at all and they are already done. Would love to get them replaced, but did not get my moneys worth out of them.
This is my second pair and I love them. They are not waterproof but very light weight and breathable. The fit is as expected and the build quality is great. My first pair lasted over a year with pretty heavy use. The treads are grippy on rock surfaces and hold up well.
I took a chance because I always like to try my shoes on in the store. But the price and brand name were enough for me to bite. These shoes are amazingly well fitting. Yes the tongue is a bit small but then again it doesn't bunch up and pinch the top of my foot. Like virtually every shoe, the factory insoles are garbage. I buy high end insoles and these shoes are the third home for mine. These fit wonderfully, are light and breathable, and hopefully I can get at least six months of life from them. I wear them daily in my work as a carpenter and handyman. As of now, I plan on buying a second pair.
great shoes
I bought these for our annual summer trip to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We love hiking the trails and I've always heard how Salomon have great shoes, especially for hiking and climbing. After having these I tend to agree! Very comfortable and lightweight and fit my size 13's perfectly. Very satisfied with zero complaints!
Support and fit smoothly cushions my feet comfortably.
I've purchased over a dozen pair of Salamon shoes....All the same size and they fit great, comfortable and wear well. I'm very rough on shoes. These seem to be a EE width....not a D.....so , I kept adding insoles...does work.Another thing is Salamon has gone to cheap insoles compared to years past. Be prepared to replace those that come with the shoe.
