Its lightweight EVA midsole offers soft cushioning that makes short hikes and daily wear enjoyable. Many users have praised the shoe's ability to adapt to their foot shape without compromising on support.
When it comes to traction, the sticky rubber outsole with tread grooves effectively grips varied terrains, making it one of the best options for casual hikes. However, if you're planning to tackle very rugged trails, these loafers might not provide the level of support needed.

I bought the color Oatmeal in size 8.5 Wide. I'm normally an 8 Medium and have narrow feet, however during the last stages of pregnancy water retention really got me and my feet and legs swelled up a lot. I needed a pair of shoes would accommodate the extra mass in my feet and these so far have been great.I've had them a couple of weeks and they're holding up well. I definitely needed the Wides, but I could have kept with my usual size 8... I didn't need the extra length, just that extra height and width at the tops of my feet. They're super cute and easy to slip on, even with a belly, thanks to the the stretchy upper fabric and the loop hole at the heel. They're cute with jeans and Leggings, probably shorts too though I haven't worn them with shorts. They keep my feet from major discomfort when I'm out running errands or on my feet for long stretches of time, which has been crucial to my productivity. They're lightweight and pretty supportive, but the main thing is that they don't constrict my puffy feet and they don't cause my flat feet discomfort even after wearing them for hours. Paired with compression socks while at home has been helpful, but I can get by with regular socks and still feel fine. I'm very glad to have found these shoes when I did.I'd never owned a pair of Rykas before these, but I'm interested to try other styles now that these have worked out so well for me.The only thing is, if you need these in a hurry they may not come in time if you order from this seller. The first pair I ordered got here in about a week, but the other two pair I ordered at the same time (blue size 8.5 & Oatmeal size 8 Wide) weren't shipped until a few days ago and won't be here for a other 5 days at least. I ordered almost 3 weeks ago at this point, so shipping seems unpredictable.TLDR: Great, comfy casual shoe that runs true to size. Especially great for those who suffer from edema! Easy to slip on and off. Good shoe to pair with jeans and Leggings.
Love the look of these shoes and very comfortable. Easy to slip on. Moderate arch support- just enough. On my feet all day at work and so far they have been great. Love that they come in wide which has made a big difference in comfort.Liked the green so much I ordered another pair in black.Highly recommend!
I love my Ryka Echo Knit Sneaker. Beware of the sizing - they run big! I am normally in a sneaker between a size 6.5-7. I fit into the "size 6" perfectly. I wanted a slip on for a long time. This one is easy to slip into, once you get the right size, fits well, very comfortable and stylish and of good quality. I love the black with grey rubber. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. Very very happy with this purchase. Great slip on sneaker.
I have a difficult time finding comfortable closed back shoes because of a bunion and hammertoe. I wanted some slip ons. After trying at least 10 different brands and styles, I found these Ryka’s. They come in wide, the upper is mesh so they don’t hurt, and they provide tremendous arch support. So perfect for me I bought a second pair!
Needed a lightweight, comfortable black shoe that would support a lot of walking, but be more attractive than a sneaker - for travel and walking in urban setting. These were a better fit, and much more comfortable than a similar slip-on style by Skechers that I tried. They were immediately comfy out of the box; I had been on the fence about ordering them, because I thought that funny, light grey rectangular tab on the upper looked a little weird in the photos. However, they are much nicer looking live and on, giving the shoes a tiny flair.Shoes also look nice with skirt/dress.Would like to give 4 1/2 stars; Only very minor cons: while these are supportive, could be just a little bit more support for arch, like the Ryka runnning shoes; and the cut on the rear sidewall a tiny tad higher than I'd love (just touches my ankle bone) - but doesn't chafe. And the fit is terrific, snug but not tight.I now own 3 pairs of very different Ryka shoes, and all 3 have been keepers!
Bought these because I was having lower back pains and needed comfortable supportive shoes for a conference. I was going to be walking all day on a showroom floor, wearing a back brace.Put these on on my way to the airport. Great slip off/on at security. Forgot socks, but no blisters. I did purchase some thin socks for the conference. I felt great support all day. The style looked appropriate for business. My feet did not experience any blisters or fatigue the whole time. My back seemed well supported. Very pleased with this purchase!
Well made and the fit is perfect. I would take a half star away because it could use some more cush on thr inner soles but since I can't take a half I give it 5 stars. I just added some inner soles and now they feel great. However, I do this to 99% of my shoes. The inner back heel area has a cushy wedge right above the inner heal area in the back that prevents your heal from slipping up/out when you walk. Never seen shoes with this wedge - and I really like it! Highly recommend these as walking shoes. An alternative to wearing sneakers.
I wear these shoes inside the house and on short walking trips outside of the house. If I am going for a long walk, I switch to tie sneakers. I think the support is good, but if more support is needed or wanted, an innersole can be inserted.
