I bought these shoes for my mom and she absolutely loves them! Perfect fit, great design, and the price couldn’t have been better. Such quality! She’s very happy.
I've owned Ryka running and walking shoes in the past. Decided to retire one of my previous pairs so ordered these. Ordered my normal 8.5 wide. These shoes were not comfortable. There was not enough room in the toe box and they were really snug. No way could I have worn them with socks. The fit overall was just not the same. Loved the color and the style but due to the difference in fit from previous pairs, I had to return them. Haven't decided if I'll reorder.
I am an avid Zumba enthusiast! I only wear Ryka Influence, but I found I needed something with more cushion for my outdoor class. This is a great shoe with wonderful support. My knees feel great. It runs a half size large. I am an 8.5, but I ordered an 8 and it fit perfectly. I have a Taylor's bunion so my foot is slightly wide near the pinky and this shoe fits just fine. I also use these shoes for my workouts and they are very stabilizing for lunges and squats, etc.
I gave this sneaker 3 stars because of the thin laces and loose feel. When I'm walking the top part of the sneaker, by the laces, loosens up a bit. I tie the laces tight, but it still loosens up. Also, the rubber sole is only the ball of the foot and the of the sneaker. The middle is a hard plastic. It hasn't affected my walking or grip to the ground, for now. I'll have to see how it wears overtime. Otherwise, it's a comfortable sneaker.
Comfort
As a fitness instructor I am Kyla to Ryka shoes but wanted something that looked more modern. This is the shoe! The black version has a little color on the heel so doesn’t clash with outfits. The shoes hold up well however the top fabric is soft and not rigid so take note of that.
They fit beautifully. This is my 2nd pair of Rykas. They tend to run narrow. If you have slightly wide feet, go for the wide. The first pair I got were not wide but with some loosening of shoe laces and breaking in, they were ok. But the 2nd pair…I selected wide and it was a game changer for me. My feet are supported and my toes have some wiggle room.
These are an awesome fit... i am on my feet all day walk walk walk.... and these are working out great have already ordered additional due to go thru sneakers way fast
