Comfort: One of the standout features of the Ryka Women's Echo Trek 2 is its exceptional comfort. The RE-ZORB LITE technology provides ample cushioning, which is particularly beneficial during long hikes on uneven paths. The padded heel collar further enhances this comfort while also adding support at the ankle.
Fit: Designed specifically for women, this boot accommodates the unique shape of a woman's foot. With a narrower heel and a roomier toe area, it provides a secure yet flexible fit. This feature is crucial for maintaining stability without feeling constricted while walking or climbing.
Durability: Constructed from high-quality materials, including water-repellent recycled nylon and durable suede overlays, these boots are built to withstand the elements. The mudguard adds extra protection against dirt and debris, making them suitable for various environments.
Traction: The sticky rubber outsole features tread grooves that provide reliable grip on different surfaces, whether you're navigating rocky trails or muddy pathways. The raised sidewalls add an additional layer of support, ensuring you can tackle inclines and declines with confidence.
Overall Performance: While the Ryka Women's Echo Trek 2 shines in light hiking scenarios, it's important to note that they may not be ideal for more strenuous terrains. However, their lightweight design makes them an excellent choice for casual hikes or day excursions in milder conditions.

Using them for working in landscaping the dirt does not go through like mesh sneakers. Very light weight and not insulated so there not hot on your feet..Plus water resistant also.
These are an excellent shoe. Waterproof and comfortable. I wore these in wet and snowy climates and they held up well and were comfortable for walking. The only thing that could be slightly better is if the tread had a little more traction. I have to be a little careful in slippery areas but overall they're great.
These Ryka shoes fit as expected, are a nice color, seem sturdy, and fairly comfortable. They squeak though.
I bought these shoes based on great reviews. No regrets.Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, stylish. Good arch support. Excellent quality construction.Cons: Very slippery on wet pavement.
Another great pair of Ryka shoes. No complaints. Comfortable to walk in and also drive. An all day shoe. I love Ryka shoes. I have bought many different types over the years. Still have many of them and wear them quite often.
Disappointed! Boots arrived with ripped fabric. Poor shoes tieing fabric.
I am breaking this boot in for a trip to Alaska. So far it is a very sturdy hiking boot. Wish I could have gotten 1/2 size smaller but they were out. Great for my orthotics.
If you're looking for serious hiking footwear, this is not for you. The tread is the same as the tread on their lighter weight shoe models, which is fine for around town etc., but not sufficient for trails. The construction is very basic and thin and not extra supportive. The waterproof feature is great so far, and they seem to run large so you can double up on socks for a cozy fit on cold, wet winter days.
